Hey Panther fans! My buddy told me that he ran into Darren Sutton at the Friday event, and he was told that all of the Panther Conference Road games and the Memphis game will be on WMLW! How sweet is that!

That would be awesome. No more crappy AM radio for away games. I'm really excited to have Sutton as the announcer again. Now if we can get Bill Schroeder to join...

UWM Announces Basketball TV Schedule Men, women both featured in package with WMLW
Oct. 31, 2005
MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Weigel Broadcasting have set the 2005-06 men's and women's basketball television schedules for the coming season.
In all, WMLW will air at least nine UWM games - seven men's contests and two women's contests. The men will also make a national television appearance on ESPN2, with additional national TV appearances possible in the Preseason NIT, ESPN Bracket Buster Saturday and the Horizon League Tournament.
The package with WMLW and CBS-58 also includes the return of coaches' shows for both the men and women.
The WMLW package begins Nov. 15 when the Panther men face Memphis in the first round of the Preseason NIT. The first women's game comes just days later, when UWM plays at Iowa. Other men's games include the Dec. 6 game at South Dakota State; Dec. 15 at Wisconsin; Dec. 27 at Wyoming; Jan. 18 at Detroit; Jan. 30 at Loyola; and Feb. 11 at Cleveland State. The other women's game is Dec. 14, when the Panthers welcome Wisconsin to the Klotsche Center.
Daron Sutton returns for his second season at the television voice of the Panthers. Sutton, the Emmy-award winning voice of the Milwaukee Brewers, will be joined on the broadcasts by UWM assistant athletic director Jason Clark. A special pregame show will air prior to some games, with CBS-58 sports director Rock Rote anchoring the studio coverage.
"The Rob Jeter Show" will air Sundays at 10:30 p.m. on CBS-58, with a repeat the following Saturday at 9:30 a.m. "The Sandy Botham Show" will air Saturdays at 9 a.m. on WMLW. Both shows will debut in January. Plus, a new show will start this Saturday, running through the months of November and December. "The Panther Sports Report," set for Saturdays at 9 a.m. on WMLW, will feature special interviews with all of UWM's head coaches. This Saturday's show features women's soccer coach Mike Moynihan.
UWM's appearance on ESPN2 comes January 14, when the Panthers play at UW-Green Bay. The second round Preseason NIT game involving the winner of UWM's game with Memphis will also air on ESPN2, as will the semifinals and finals of the event. Eleven games in the Bracket Buster Saturday event will air on the ESPN family of networks, while the Horizon League Tournament Championship Game will be on ESPN.

Does anyone know if that NIT opening round game is on national TV anywhere or is it just a local market game. That sucks if it is only local.
