Circa March 2003 - "Enjoy it while you can, you guys are gonna have a hard time next year, you lose Clay Tucker."......
Circa March 2004 - "Enjoy it while you can, you guys are gonna have a hard time next year, you lose Dylan Page.".....
Circa March 2005 - "Enjoy it while you can, you guys are gonna have a hard time next year, you lose Ed McCants."............
yada, yada, yada........some people say you can learn a lot by looking at the past - translation, someone else will step up.
My prediction,
Circa March 2006 - "Enjoy it while you can, you guys are gonna have a hard time next year, you lose Joah Tucker."
Circa March 2007 - "Enjoy it while you can, you guys are gonna have a hard time next year, you lose........."

Outstanding post, Panther 30 ... Lose McCants, but gain Waters, Childress and more.

My prediction, Circa March 2006 - "Enjoy it while you can, you guys are gonna have a hard time next year, you lose Joah Tucker." Let me help you with this one..... Circa March 2006 - "Enjoy it while you can, you guys are gonna have a hard time next year, you lose half of your team due to graduation."

Ironically, losing players to graduation never USED to be a problem for us! (Panther 30 being one exception....)

Let me help you with this one..... Circa March 2006 - "Enjoy it while you can, you guys are gonna have a hard time next year, you lose half of your team due to graduation." Let me remind you, a similar situation happened the year after BP got here (2002/2003 - same year we went to our first NCAA tournament) - 7 guys were seniors.....……turned out just fine.

Hey pnthr30, on your picture is that a picture of your jersey in your house? And who wears number 30 nowadays?
If you ask me, yours should have been retired.....or is it?
And by the way, my early predictions for next season:
1. Milwaukee 2. Detroit 3. UIC 4. Loyola 5. Green Bay 6. WSU 7. Butler 8. Cleveland State 9. Youngstown State
I put UIC third in spite of the fact that we had a down year. Our incoming class looks quite impressive....on paper. We also will have more scoring options that just Ced running through screen after screen.

It is a picture of my old jersey........it is not in my house however (in fact, I don't even have that jersey - #@$* athletic department made sure we turned all our stuff in I had a hard enough time getting some shorts. haha). I think this picture was taken in the UWM locker room at the Klotche (got the pic from JohnJay). 2. No one wore #30 this year - Clay was the last guy to wear it. 3. No, it is not retired.........and if it is, I think Clay will have a lot more to do with that than I ever did. But thanks for your thoughts. ;D 4. I have to admit, I like your pre pre-season picks. UIC certainly does have some incoming talent - on paper anyways..........Loyola should be improved, UD will be good, as will UWM. Should be an interesting year towards the top.

Plenty of people making their preseason picks known. Joe Lunardi has picked his early pick for winning the Horizon League next season, and it's not UWM. He tabbed Detroit as the team to win the Horizon League. I don't think that's a bad pick, since Detroit will definately be a team to beat next season. I think it's a little early to put too much into this, though. sports.espn.go.com/ncb/bracketology

I guess so did most of the Horizon, but I don't see Detroit winning the HL. I predict we will win it handily again. Yeah Detroit could give us some problems, but I would be willing to bet we don't lose twice to anyone in the HL next year.

How is Pat doing? He is still in town, isn't he? Tell him that we (Craig G., Mark B., Deon E., etc.) missed him at the alumni game! And to make sure that things are not misunderstood, and that the "history" of the program is recognized, Easterlin did, in fact, get the #30 rollin! ;D Tell him I said what's up! Did McDade wear #30 as well? Man, we all should petition to get that thing hung up! haha
