From ESPN.com insider Andy Katz:
Wisconsin-Milwaukee's search to replace Bruce Pearl could get very interesting in the coming days.
The Panthers return seven seniors (six are fifth-years), according to Pearl, and could be looking for an experienced head coach to take over a team that could be right back in the mix for the Horizon League title, an NCAA berth and a win or two in the tournament again. The two main losses are Ed McCants and defensive specialist James Wright.
One of the early favorites could end up being Wisconsin assistant coach Rob Jeter, who was at Milwaukee as an assistant under Bo Ryan before the pair left for Madison four years ago.
Jeter and Ryan did run a 1-2-1-1 press when they were at UW-Platteville, so shifting to a more pressing and trapping style from what Jeter coaches in Madison wouldn't be a stretch.
But Jeter could have some competition from former head coaches. Former Tennessee coach Buzz Peterson, if he's interested, could be in the mix since the Panthers would be looking at a coach who does have experience. That would be an odd switch if Peterson went to Milwaukee to replace Pearl, who replaced him. Wisconsin-Stevens Point coach Jack Bennett, Dick Bennett's brother, could also be in the mix.
Marquette assistant Jeff Strohm might have a hard time cracking the list over Jeter because of Jeter's ties to the program.

That is pretty sweet. Someone actually recognized James Wright.

From a Tennessee fan-You do not want Peterson (And I think Doherty's awful as well. Who loses 20 games at Carolina?).
