We still have 1 scholarship open for sure next year and maybe 2, all depending on the Freeman ruling. I would think that we are going to recruit a PG and probably get a pretty good one since that person will get playing time with Hill being the only PG on the team.

Wimmer will likely project as a PG, so he would backup Hill next year. Another PG would be useful though, especially one that can shoot. Ronnie's ability to spread out a zone/create a shot is definitely lacking from this year's PGs.

Speaking of Ronnie, does anyone know what he is up to these days?

Wimmer is a pure shooter. He can shoot as well as Ronnie did, but does anybody know if he played PG in high school?
Ronnie had an offer to play in Mexico, but I am not sure if he took it or not.

Ronnie actually took a semester off and was going to have hernia surgery...he was living in Las Vegas at the time and is now back in Milwaukee. He started taking graduate courses over Winterim break and is continuing to take classes. He is living with Ken Johnson one of the assistant coaches I believe...

I have seen wimmer drain shots from behind the bench in warmups...but then come game time he chokes...he needs to find some sort of confidence and then he could be lights out

Next year will be Little D's junior year. I'm honestly not sure he'll ever see the court for more than spot duty.

Well, hopefully now with a new coach, he'll get more opportunity to show us those shots!!! He deserves to play more than he does right now, especially if he can build the confidence for those 3 pointers!!!

The problem with Wimmer is not in hitting the shots, its in getting open enough to take the shots.
