KJ and Silk were left behind ... so far: www.jsonline.com/sports/coll/mar05/313367.asp"Remaining behind, at least temporarily, were assistant coach Ken Johnson and director of basketball operations Kendrick Moore. There is a possibility they could still join Pearl at Tennessee, but Pearl reportedly will interview some assistants from former coach Buzz Peterson's staff."

Jones and Shay were offered the top 2 assistant jobs by BP. Pearl is looking to bring in someone else for the 3rd assistant spot. This being said, it would actually be a step down if Silk & KJ took the positions offered by BP. Tough position for Silk, go with BP or stick around and try to catch on with the new coach because I would assume the new coach would want somebody on his staff that has some experience with this team.

I would not be surprised if KJ and Silk were offered a position in the athletic department down at UT. Kind of like how Saul Phillips took a step down at UW when Bo Ryan left. Sure, he wasn't a coach, but Bo still hooked him up with a place on the staff.

There is some huge talent in the state coming out over the next few years. A lot of people feel that he will retain some of the staff in order to solidify the commitments of several key recruits such as Jamont Gordon and Tyler Smith. There are also several players in Memphis that they will begin to persue.

The coach most likely to stay from the Buzz regime is Chuck Benson. The others are likely gone.

And even Benson won't make it more than two years. Pearl just needs someone with ties to the south in terms of recruiting.
