What about our boy Crazy Mike? Think he'll still be team manager next year? Gotta be a crushing blow for him I'm sure!

The funny thing is Vol, if you think pearl wont drop you in a heartbeat if he gets an offer from a basketball school you are sadly mistaken. If UWM was a stepping stone, you can bet you ass tenn is. That is true. If UConn or some other "power" comes calling, he's gone ... and I wouldn't blame him.

I sure hope the incoming coach takes in Busy Busy Mike like Bruce did. if BP should apoligize to anyone, it should be to Busy Busy.

What I do think bothers Panther fans is this business that "you are a mid major" and you just have to take it. Lie back and think of England. We want to be Gonzaga and we wish Bruce would have wanted to be Mark Few.
But he didn't and we now have to find the guy who does. I appreciate what Bruce did here but I'm far more interested in the next guy.
As for Mike being the manager, it should be in the new coach's contract.

And let's not forget...Dan Monson was Gonzaga's coach when they started making a name for themselves back in the late 90's. He moved on to a bigger school too, but Gonzaga has turned out just fine. And what about Southern Illinois? They've been without Bruce Weber for a couple years now and they've done alright. Mid-Major's lose coaches, it's the nature of the business. But losing a coach dosn't mean the program will take a dive.
