1- Brandon Miller. Great asst. job at OSU and Xavier. And, you guys love him.
2- Coach k- Why not? If he can take intelligent kids and win national titles, then maybe he can take juvey dumb kids and dominate the HL....plus you're already the Krazies!!!

A few thoughts on one guy leaving and who knows coming in:
RE:UWM's offer to Pearl- If the money is even close you'd think he'd want to stay...I mean look at what the guy from Gonzaga did after jumping...NOTHING. He's going to be out of a job soon at Minn. Hell I don't even remember his name but did you notice Gonzaga is still going strong?
UWM's AD can sell this job to a few talented coaches... even if their thinking it's a stepping stone job, something may stick. Ryan and Pearl being the last two coaches is a better legacy than Marquette or any other team in the Horizon League has. Worry not ...after Ryan left what did people think then? No way did they imagine this so who knows?
Maybe Izzo, Webber, Keady, etc. has a "go getter" ready to jump at the chance at this job?

Nate Harker in '06 for coach!!!! After the stellar season experienced by the UWM football program, I think Nate would be great for the job here. I dont know of another program that went undefeated for 40 years. Hes the man for the job.

One of the best candidates I can think of is Paul Combs from UW Platteville. His team went 19-7 this past year and they lost in the tourney to the eventual D-III champion UW Whitewater. He has good experience as a head coach and would be a good fit for the program being a local guy. Any thoughts?

No. Hasn't had sustained success over a long period of time. That's the only way someone from D2 or D3 will get a look.
Bennett is the only real option from any of the WIAC schools.
