ya know though, with the new chancellor, carlos said that he is devoted to keeping the program on the upswing, funding, and the whole she-bang. hopefully HE lives by his word, and they keep the ball rolling here. hope childress stays, milwaukee could still be attractive for him

If Jones goes, Childress goes I assume. But maybe not, UWM could still be quite appealing. He's gone or, never was. Shay was most responsible for Childress. Unbelievable.

His voice catches when he uses the word "family" and the he goes on to talk about not being a nomad.
The kind interpretation is that it really was difficult to leave.
The cynical interpretation is that he realizes that he's been blowing smoke for the last week and that his talk about "digging in" might not sound very sincere.
I suspect that there is truth in both.
The hardest part was listening him to describe how his teams play. He's right about that. I'd hate to see that go.

Well UT has our coach, but the BP chant better not follow. I don't think they could memorize it down there.

waters isn't going anywhere. the one good thing about transfers is they're pretty much here to stay once they commit to transferring.
i sincerely hope childress stays on board. he could be very good here. all i know is Bud better hit a home run again. the pressure is on big time now. he's going to be under a microscope.

My bet is that Jerry Smith and Torre Johnson might be in orange next year.

My bet is that Jerry Smith and Torre Johnson might be in orange next year. Jerry Smith has said it's down to 3 schools, UW, Marquette and one other

My bet is that Jerry Smith and Torre Johnson might be in orange next year. In all likelihood, Torre Johnson will be at Oklahoma State next year. But, this could sway him to UT.

Lou, Wasn't there some faulty wiring in BP's basement? I heard that accidents happen in remodeling...
