sports.espn.go.com/ncb/bracketologyright now in the predicted brackets, they have us at a 13 seed against the Zags! i think this would be an awesome 1st round grab that we could come away with. ;D

I agree...This is a winnable game...If we win that we would face Utah which is also a game we could nab..
Its not like it is a powerhouse like Kentucky or something like that....With those matchups we could feasibly be in the sweet 16 which would do wonders for our program
Go Panthers

i dont want mid majors to play other mid majors right away. being a mid major implies that you have to work twice as hard to get one morsal of respect. i would like to see the zags and the panthers make some upsets and then meet.
as for the 12 th seeding. i think at best we can get a 12th seed. at best situation. 13th looks like what we will get if we win the tourney.

Let's just go out and win the HL and let the chips fall where they may. But I do agree, it is fun to play the "what-if" game.

12 seed is definitely the best we'd get. But, it's looking more and more like a 13. CollegeRPI.com has us as a 14. Strength of schedule is killing us, as is having NO quality wins.
But, let's take it one step at a time. I don't know about all of you, but I DO NOT LIKE the way the Tourney pairings shook out. To have to play UIC or Loyola in the semis, IMO is a VERY TOUGH GAME. Loyola is one of the hottest teams in the conference, with Schilb on FIRE these last few weeks. UIC, enough said.

Honestly, there are potentially dangerous teams in the other side of the bracket, too. Butler and Wright State took UWM to the limit twice. Detroit already has a win at the Cell. UWM was going to have a tough draw no matter what.
