Last time I checked the MU Non-Conf. SOS was ranked 88 in the country. Which, by my counts, is in the top third of the country.
By the way, UWM's was 94.
Also, I have told you many a time I thought UWM was having a good season. Now bring me some McChicken's, I am hungry.
One more thing, the show might be moving back! Ray Lewis b****!

Ladies and gents of this board I want to point out this is a fan from Marquette posting and I want everyone to see how clear it is they still cant admit it that UWM is better than them. I mean what high quality wins does Marquette have this year?? They pulled one of hte biggest choke jobs I have EVER seen last night at HOME against Louisville. They are something like 5-8 in conferece and the only reason they have 17 wins is because they play a GOD AWFUL schedule and play the likes of Coppin St.. How much more obvious is it people, Marquette people are stuckin the past and are not able to look at things critically and have such immense egos that they cannot congratulate UWM on a fine season, one where they are clearly more talented than Marquette..One would think with the 20,000 they pay each year in tuition they would teach them such skills I'm not a Marquette student, I am a fan of both programs. Kinda shoots down your theory there. I'm just sick and tired of people like yourself thinking UWM is so great and Marquette sucks so bad. Marquette's schedule is "GOD AWFUL"? Air Force, Illinois State, Kent State, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nebraska, DePaul, Louisville, Cincinnati, Memphis, UAB, Charlotte, Houston, TCU. With games like that, you're going to schedule bunnies as well. Thats what MAJOR programs do. Mid-majors like UWM play sh*t in the conference so they need to schedule big games. Turns out, that didnt work out real well and what looked like a tough non-conference schedule turned out to be Wisconsin and Kansas and ...... ? Air Force is a very decent team no question, Manhattan is mediocre at best now that they're guns are gone, SLU is having a horrible year (but getting better). UW-Parkside, South Dakota State, Prairie View. Wow, interesting, UWM schedules bunnies too. Marquette's schedule is head-and-shoulders above UWM's. This is not meant to bash UWM at all. Not my intention. I hope they win the conference tournament and get the bid (they wont get a bid otherwise). Just had to stress my point that the schedule argument is absoulutely laughable since MU's schedule is much tougher, undisputible point IMHO. So thats my point, and also that the obsession with Marquette needs to stop! I'm a fan of both, not saying anyone else has to be but no need scrutinizing after every game they play, or sitting on a message board all day and posting 1,000 messages. Thanks, have a great day, and show some love!! ;D

Oh yeah, that was the whole difference...you lost by 30 but if you played at the Cell you would have won...don't call names, dude. Especially if you're not making a decent point.

i agree, uwm does play some teams that are bunnies. Marquette also does. we both played SDSU, which is pointless for both of our schools. What I dont get is why Creen won't play UWM he said that he has nothing to gain from playing UWM. what was the gains from playing SDSU? absolutely none. a win against uwm would actually help their rpi. I hate that uwm doest get to play marquette, IMO it would be the best game in milwaukee college basketball history to go watch. I dont think that marquette sucks,(I do hate them with a passion) they deffenetly arent playing well in conference this year. 5-7 in conference, wow! why leave C-USA if you cant even win your division. but this subject is old, it has been beaten to death! AND for marquette to not play us makes non sense, they must be scared of lossing future recruits to uwm. that is the only thing that makes sense to me..... what ever i hate this topic

I think it has to do with the home/away thing. MU doesn't really schedule more than a few away games in the non-conference. If UWM just wanted to play at the BC, then MU would do it, but for MU to go across the street just doesn't make sense. They get Arizona and Wisconsin on the road...why add UWM?
I don't think it's right...I just think its best for them.

Thank you, I hate the topic too!! That's my point. All I ever see when I log on is Marquette references all over the place. That's what I'm saying. Get over it!! They don't play. Should they? Probably, but they dont. So what. If they did, Marquette would probably win every year. That's an unbiased opinion, like I said I'm a fan of both programs. Marquette is struggling this year, no question. Considering this is an off-year, it shows where that program is at. On off years they are still a pretty good team that can hang with anybody. Next year's recruiting class is ranked 14th, and they will continue to be highly ranked like that with the switch to the Big East and Crean's recruiting savvy. MU will never lose a recruit to UWM (Big East vs. Horizon), so they should play, it would be fun, but it wont happen if UWM people keep chanting MU obscenities and make shirts and signs about it. The more you push, the less the odds are it will happen. But yes, lets drop the subject, even though I know after they play DePaul on Sunday win or lose there will be references all over the board. UWM is having a great year, terrific. MU is a pretty darn good team in my opinion when healthy, as they showed last night (albeit the unraveling in the last 5 minutes). If you cheer for both like me, great. If you dont like MU, fine, just dont continuously bring the topic up on this board every other day, kinda like I'm doing right now!! Ha. Thats my point, and with that I sign off on the subject.

It goes back to when Bo Ryan was here and some of the things he said...It has nothing to do with a home and home....It used to be more of a financial thing when we played at the Klotsche but now we took care of that. It has to do with large egos at MU such as Cords and Creen

Two things...it has everything to do with home and home. If your Ad wants to talk to MU about a one time, play at the BC game, I'd be shocked and appalled if he said no. I'll personally come back here and tell you you're totally right.
As for my argument about Wisconsin, it's not a bad one. While there were differences between where the game was played, you can't knock Marquette's schedule when theirs is ranked higher and you both played Wisc as your second best opponent. You got CLOBBERED...and they won. I'm not trying to say you can compare perfectly, just that its something to look at.
