UIC is down by 6 with 1 minute to go in the first half. I hate UIC and could not be happier that GB (A WI team) is kicking there ass on there own floor. I love it, lets hope they can finish the job off

Amen to that Kingsbury. I won 50 on them tonight. I took the points though....
Green Bay is a WI team and we have to cheer them on. Plus it is going to be more special now when we win on Wednesday....I hate UIC...
GO PANTHERS

I hear you Kingsbury............they were on the wrong side of a 20+ point run to end the game.........even if it was "poorly" officiated, they should have been able to score a hoop or two. Along those line, if the refs would have been "better" it sounds like both Morris and Tod would have been T'd up! haha

By the way, let me say that I never cheer for UWGB as they are a recruiting rival for some first-team all-state recruits (Allan Hanson, for instance, chose UWM over GB) and I honestly have more respect for UIC in that they have at least walked the walk, making the NCAAs on three occasions under Collins.

I'm all for the walk the walk comment. My question would be how far back are we talking. GB is still not as athletic as most of the teams in the league but they are making some strides. As far as the UIC making it to 3 NCAA's comment, my question to throw at any of the teams from this league making the tourney would be have you won a game. I traveled to the game(feels like moons ago) when GB beat Jason Kidd and the Cal Bears. If GB can't make it to the tourney I would love it for UWM to go in and win a game or two. It does wonders for the conference. When GB was on its run in the early 90's it helped the conference they were in greatly from a publicity standpoint. Not to mention, that kind of success is great fun. We almost beat Syracuse in the second round as well.
