tough bet, I just don't know which Butler team will show up. In case anybody was wondering the spread dropped to 11.5, meaning when UWM wins by 12 - its no push for me baby!!
I also consulted Jimmy Masterlock Dugan and he said the barking dog tonight is Cleveland State. Take the money line ;D!!!

Great game last night. As ugly as it was at times, I really feel this win was a true testament to the maturity of our team. Butler forced the tempo and early on, the boys couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. But, they remained confident and played unselfishly. While having only 5 (or 6?) assists concerns me, does anyone realize we only turned the ball over 4 times last night? That's simply an amazing statistic. Plus, as poor as the shooting was early on, we shot over 50% after starting the game 1-14.
This is the type of win that really does make champions. The type of game where you can't play your style, things aren't working early, yet you come together as a group to make the best of a bad situation. Hats off to Joah and Ed for sticking with it and not getting down on themselves - and to the coaches for continually bolstering their confidence.
A great win. I hope the boys have a good time in Hawaii and bring back another "W".

Whew........glad that is over! Loyola's coach is right, UWM can win when it doesn't play its best ball. ;D But, with that being said, the guys continued to play hard (effort was there) when things weren't going well, and eventually got the ball to bounce in their direction - great to see! Truly a hard fought game (don't know why I expected anything less with BU). Hope the guys enjoy this for the moment, then get ready to play on Sat. against a very good Hawaii team............but more importantly, I hope they are ready for next weekend!

Wow that first half was ugly, we couldn't hit a 3 to save our life, but we did manage a run to get to within one at half. Then it was all Ed, Joah and Chris in the second half. With Ed hitting some key three's. I had a blast last night just waiting to storm the court. Great showing by our student section, except for the idiots who decided to throw stuff onto the court during a timeout. Our defense really showed up in the second half to help us pull out the win and the back to back Horizon Crowns! Loved to see Bruce not cut down the nets! Classy move and smart on his part. We have to handle our business in the tourny, can't wait to pack the cell for that.
On a side note Wright had a great night for senior night, he was into the game from beginning to end. When we stormed the court there were a bunch of us around him chanting J. Wright and he was eating it up. I'm going to hate to see him leave, just wish Rob Sanders would have gotten into the game, he looked like he was ok during warm-ups, throwing it down like crazy.
