arrogance? didn't see that in the posts... anyone who's looking at this game lightly is fooling themselves. even a down Butler team makes me worried. while they've looked horribly bad at times, they've also looked like the semblance of a decent basketball team at others. but looking back at the previous matchup, milwaukee played a pretty lousy game as they historically do at BU. this is a much different team now. i'll be surprised if this is a blow out in either direction, but i'll also be surprised if UWM doesn't prevail with all that's on the line.

i agree, BU, u guys are a decent team and I am also not calling this game a walk in the park, but if my memory serves me right you guys only have total of 2 road wins this season! That is pathetic, and you are thinking you are oging to get your 3rd here HAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHHHHHAAHAAAAA

I didnt say that Butler will win.. the odds are extremely against it. But I did say that the game will not be as easy as you might think, if the Dogs play the way they have in their past few wins.
Could it be ironic that one of our precious few road wins was in Wisconsin?

you know i would be a lot more worried about this game if it was in BU for the title, but since it is here yes i am confidant (sp?) that we will prevail. Do i think that it is going to be just some blowout, hell no, but nor do i think htat it will come down to the last few minutes, or at least i hope that it doesn't come down to it (quick let me find some wood to knock on). With everything that is on the line, and all the added incentives of tommorrow night and the main fact IT IS AT HOME i do fell good about this game. BUt lets let the boys do the talking for us out there on the court and then we can celebrate all that we want.

Atherton Barber, clearly you didn't read any of the previous posts about the Butler game on here. In now way shape or form is there any bragging of a blowout, looking past for the tourney, etc to exhibit, as you say "So much confidence.. almost arrogance. " Get your SH#$ straight here. Of course we will have confidence in our team...isn't that what it's all about? We're not throwing in the towel because of a few losses...then b****ing about firing our coach as you Butler fans do.
"...and while BU has been streaky, their good games, have been very good."
Welcome to the Horizon League, everyone is streaky. However I'd say the teams that have been truly "streaky" this year are the ones in the 4-5 way fight for 3rd...and it turns out you're not invited!
"Since it is your senior night, should BU send some ignorant fans to your place to boo the seniors as they are being recognized in their pregame ceremony?? Oh, nevermind, such ignorant and classless behavior like that isn't neccessary. Some of you might know what I am talking about.. "
I say more power to you, because we UWM fans are not gonna let a small group of your fans ruin our Senior night, and then complain about if for years after. Cry me a river.

we = uwm, cmon now should be a good game. hopefully we'll have another great crowd on hand seeing as it's 2 for 1 night. Again, didn't really get an answer here, I'm trying to convince some folks to come down, if they buy a $10 ticket will they get one free? Also has anyone checked with the bookstore to see if they have championship tshirts yet (because of the fact that we already clinched a share)?

Also has anyone checked with the bookstore to see if they have championship tshirts yet (because of the fact that we already clinched a share)? According to everything I read, yes it's 2 for 1 night. Doubt that they have t-shirts yet, but wouldn't be surprised to see them there by the end of the week. Last year they had them really quick after the clinching game.

Thanks Hack, my nephew will be down for his 5th game this year. He's never really been into sports but since the Wright State game he has been looking forward to each and every one of these things. I can't wait, I really hope they win and are able to celebrate a little it would be a cool experience for him to see... Butler is formidable. Hope the lads are ready. Go Panthers.
