His shoulder pops out a lot now. The last time it happened (before today) was the GB game. I wish Sanders all the luck in the world, he should probably have surgery on it as soon as possible. I know as a senior this has to be tough on him, play with a brace or do what normal people do and have surgery on the shoulder.

I just asked him about it Monday night when he was balling at Klotsche and he said it was feeling better than he had been any time since the GB game.
This is really bad news, I remember when I first got here and Rob was a sophmore. He could leap out of the gym and seemed like he was going to be a force for the next couple years. Very unfortunate.

My gut tells me that Rob is probably done. It sucks, because you certainly don't want to end a college career this way, but at the same time, he's young, and you sure don't want to screw up the rest of your life with a completly bum shoulder.
I wish Rob all the best. He seems a very decent guy.

That really sucks! I thought this was going to be Rob's break out season, coming out of midnight madness. It looked like his shoulder was finally going to hold up, he was attacking the basket, and dunking once again. I really feel sorry for the guy, he has been injured his entire carrer. I think this year the whole injury bug hit him in our preseason game against the all-stars on what looked to be a dirty play. Then it was again injured a bit more serious at UIC, and from then on he has been hurting from it. I just hope that he will be able to come back for one more game this season and throw down! ;D ;D he is a great spark for the team and will be missed.
