Manoyan's story in today's J-S had the dateline, Champaign, Ill. If my map is correct (and I believe it is), he's well on the way to Youngstown, Ohio. Great job, Garry Howard!

I'd hate to go on a road trip with you, dylanrocks. Champaign is 2 1/2 hours south of Chicago, while Youngstown is way out of the way near Cleveland.

I not sure how I feel about this game considering it is a classic trap game. Just look what happened to UWGB last night. They ended up beating Cleveland State by 5, but were down by 13 at one point. UWM opened as a 14 point favorite and I think we cover this one. I think BP has these guys playing well tonight. My prediction is:
UWM: 88 YSU: 66

Boring game. I listened to the YSU internet feed, and it wasn't too bad. He knew his team didn't have a chance tonight, however. This is a good sign for us, we are playing well.
The difference in this team from last year's is that we can play defense. We lead the league in FG% defense, and thins helps us compensate for an off night by one of our shooters. That's what killed us with Detroit. Defense!
Let's shut down the seniors for GB and get first place back!

Good win tonight, 41 - 18 at half time is pretty impressive. Now only if Ed and Joah can get going at the same time.

I listened to this game on the radio and honestly couldnt pay much attention after we started off the game 7-0. it was a great effort and great win. one observation is that Bruce went with the 3 guard lineup this game again like he did against butler and loyola. it seems to be quite effective in starting the game hot. Joah even won the tip...

solid win last night. we've avenged all of last year's road losses already. it's nice to see the panthers put a team away early like they did last night. they've needed these last couple easy wins cause the road ahead is daunting once again. let's pack the Cell this saturday, it should be a beauty. GO PANTHERS!

I really don't have a problem with the J-S not covering last night's game (YSU's not exactly next door, after all; tell me why they were admitted into the league again?), but I do ask that they get the doggone boxscore right in the newspaper. That's all. In general, the recent coverage has been very satisfactory.
