Butler can almost wrap it up.
The packages awaiting them are different, but the consequences of tonight's game at Hinkle Fieldhouse are important for both college basketball teams.
UW-Milwaukee, at 12-2 in the Horizon League, can secure a share of its first regular-season title. Butler, at 6-7, is just trying to secure a first-round home game for the league tournament.

Butler Begins Homestand Against League-Leading UWM
Bulldogs will play three of their final four games at home[/color]
Feb. 17, 2004
HOME FINISH: Butler (11-12, 6-7) will begin its final regular season homestand against Horizon League leader UW-Milwaukee (17-7, 12-2) on Wednesday, Feb. 18. The two teams will be meeting for the second time this season when they tip-off in Hinkle Fieldhouse at 7 p.m. (EST). UWM won the first meeting, 71-59, this year in Milwaukee last month, and the Panthers have taken two straight meetings in the series. Both teams are trying to rebound from a league setback on Valentine's Day. Butler fell at Detroit, 54-48, while the Panthers dropped an 85-84 decision at Youngstown State. UW-Milwaukee needs one win to clinch its first Horizon League regular season crown. Butler has won seven of 11 games since its last meeting with UWM.
The Bulldogs are 7-3 in Hinkle Fieldhouse this season.
CRUNCH TIME: Butler can wrap-up a "Top Six" finish in the Horizon League with two wins. If the Bulldogs finish sixth or higher in the final league standings, all games that they play in the Horizon League Tournament, March 2-9, will be held at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Butler has won 69 of the last 76 games played on its homecourt. This is the 75th anniversary of historic Hinkle Fieldhouse.
