I was just listening to BP on "The Game" and he told Steve that the Panthers are going to be changing up their rotaion and using Sanders more and Pancratz less. i like this move a lot

Sounds good to me. I always wondered why Rob didn't get more time (similar to JW). There is no substitute for athleticism - these guys may not be as skilled, refined, or have the game "IQ" as some others, but what they lack in these attributes, they will give you just as much if not more (hopefully) in rebounds, steals, blocks, and overall momentum plays. We don't really need these guys to score much, just do the other things that get the "scorers" open, and clean up the mess. I find it kind of interesting that the rotation is changing now......more than 3/4 into the season (and not due to injury - unless BP is going to rest page a bit and they need Rob to play big, which Mark is not capable of doing ). Anyways, BP has done a great job to date, who am I to question? haha

Yah, minus the free throw shooting, everytime Sanders comes in he seems to make an instant impact. Maybe not game changing but it's surely big enough to help our team get the W. He boxes out, gets rebound and does all the things a role player should do.

I don't like to criticize players much but I'm kinda confused on Pancratz's role for the team. He played huge in a couple games early on in the year i.e. Valpo, but when he has been in the games lately I haven't seen much input from him. I feel kind of bad because I imagine he works his ass off in practice and can be a very good bench player for us, I just haven't really seen it lately. Any thoughts about that?

I thought in the earlier games Pancratz was able to penetrate and kick out more. I thought he took it to the hole more open shot opportunities were created. Maybe the coaches don't want him to do that as much, or if scouting reports on him have improved. But yes, his game production has gone down some.

Are you guys friends with Mark P? The only explanation that he logs any minutes is that he practices hard and Bruce wants to reward him. A normal line for Mark P. is 10 minutes, 0 points on 0-2 shooting, 1 flop for a charge, 1 flop for a block, 2 turnovers, and 6 points for the guy he is defending.
If the panthers were one more player deep, Mark P would not play, and hopefully Rob can make sure that happens.

True, but at the same time we would have a big L next to the lowly Valpo team this year if not for him. I could care less about who plays from our bench as long as whoever it is puts in valuable minutes and does things to help our team. Hopefully Rob can continue to do so. I was basically just wondering what people thought about his play of late. I'm not defending him nor am I happy with his play lately.
