UWM wins again! 6-0, sitting on top of the Horizon League.
First off, UWGB's lack of a tough schedule lost them the game today. Besides Troy State they have not played a team that could really test them. You're not ever going to beat a decent team after going 9-0 (8 at home) against the bottom of the Midwest D1 schools. Bruce Pearls tough non-conf schedule is paying off HUGE! This team has matured fast, and is looking for win #7 because of it. Matt King was really the only GB Player that really impressed me. I wouldn't have ever bet he would have scored that many points...he sure proved me wrong!
Okay, UWM was looking to Saturday on Thursday night against Youngstown. Jtucks had an amazing afternoon. McCants was tough as nails as usual. He might as well start shooting the 3 from halfcourt. DP had a bit of an off night, but that's okay, as on the 31st he'll be stepping out to prove a point. Tigert dominated the boards (and put in a solid 11pts). Our team was faster and set back every UWGB run. I am feeling pretty good going in to a week of rest until thursday at Cleveland.

I wasn't paying close attention to Rhode (he was left in the dark)...who shut him down?
The UWGB fan base did not really impress me much from what I saw on TV. Any observation from those who were there? I just didn't see any one really getting in to it, nor did it seem too loud on TV. Yeah they had a lot of green on, but I assume most of that is green and gold.
Watch out for Butler. They are starting to mesh...they are going to make one last effort to try and nab 3rd place if possible. The BU/Detroit game today was probably the most exciting of the two on Fox Sports. Is it just me, or is every game at Hinkle outstanding?
GO MILWAUKEE!
