At Turner Hall tonight a bunch of us asked Ed where his brothers wanted to go to school. He replied with, "They both want to go here."

Sean, second-team all-state as a sophomore, said that he and middle brother Marcus would love to come to UWM together and play in the same backcourt. Marcus would be a junior in 2006 and Sean will be a freshman. Sean is currently averaging about 23 points per game as a junior at Marion (Ohio) Catholic Central.

Sean doesn't play for Marian Catholic, he plays for Wellington in the Columbus area where his Dad coaches.

The 23 ppg sounds even better since its at some place other than Marian. They are in with the really small schools, I think it's called D-IV there, so the level of competition is pretty low. It didn't hurt Ed any playing at Marian, but it can only help his brother if he gets better competition. Anybody know what level Wellington is?

I looked it up. Marian Catholic has a whopping 28 boys enrolled. Wellington School is a little bigger with 88 boys. I don't know what division that qualifies them for, because they didn't make the '05 state tourney

Wellington is division IV... but they are a good school. Both of the younger McCants are definitely thinking about going to UWM in 2006 to follow in their brother's footsteps.
