I saw a post on the Wright State board that said we had signed him for 2006...? Anyone have any info on this?

Marcus is currently averaging 16 points a game at Olney CC -- the same place Derrick and Boo came from --he has made over 60 3 pointers at 40 % clip and in OCC's last game went for 27 points including 7 three balls. He would definitely bring a shooter into the mix that might help fill Ed's outside shooting after this year.

see posting from olney site, did he go to UWM last year?
20 Marcus McCants Position: Guard Height: 6'1 Weight: 190 School: Wisconsin-Milwaukee Profile: Marcus comes to OCC after sitting out at UW-Milwaukee last season. Marcus comes from a basketball rich family, his oldest brother was the leading scorer at UWM last season, his father is a legendary coach in Ohio, and his younger brother is an up and coming star in Ohio. Marcus has a great feel for the game. He can play either guard postition and is a deadly shooter from long range. He also has the ability to get to the rim. Marcus will be a great addition to the Blue Knights.

IMO, if you want to keep some McCants Blood at UWM, go with youngest McCants, he 's in high school right now and maybe a better player than Ed.

Either way, we need to stick with the McCants theme I think that it has been working up to this point. ;D Just look at the Tucker thing we have going, that has been proven to be money! I've always said if I am ever a recruiter and there is a Tucker to be recruited, pick him up! Clay Tucker, Joah Tucker, Orlando Tucker, that Tucker from Texas (although academically challenged still good). You just can't loose with a name that works

Umm, it's Alando Tucker, who also might have played at UWM, but I catch your drift. Tucker has certainly been a money name.

Anyone know what year in highschool Ed's youngest brother is? You never know, recruiting Marcus might be a tactic of Bruce to eventually real in the youngest brother.

sean sounds legit. averaged 20.1 as a sophmore and was second team all state in ohio last year. couldnt really find much on him this year but i did find something saying he is one of the top 50 juniors in the nation right now, so hell id take this kid any day ....if hes anything close to what ed is, some people saying hes better, id love to see bruce land him , and i think it helps alot that both his bros went there and maybe he will see it as a legit school to step in and play right away like ed did coming and taking over the team......i guess we'll just have to see what happens with sean, but welcome marcus.....

What's wrong with this picture: Marcus' OCC bio has Ed as the leading scorer for UWM last season.
