Can someone clarify an NCAA Tournament rule for me? Milwaukee is a host city for the first two rounds in 2025. Marquette is the host school. If the Panthers are able to get to the tourney, is there a chance they'd be able to be selected to play at Fiserv or can you not play within your city in the opening rounds regardless? The Panthers would be eligible to play but if we were say a #14 seed we would never get to play that close to home as they won't put a top four seed at a disadvantage. We'd have to have a dream season (Think 32-2 or something) and get a high seed to play in Milwaukee.

I assumed the odds would be small in a best case scenario but wasn't sure if it'd be allowed in general.

Could you imagine the whining from the fans of the high-major who would get picked to play us at the Forum in a 3/14 matchup?
BTW we'd sell out the arena, I'm absolutely sure of it.

The rule is no more than 3 games in a arena, otherwise it's your home court.

Simeon Murchison appears to be out for the season as he’s announced he has a torn Achilles via instagram. Devastating news.

In my opinion, pretty much everyone starting with Faizon, who dominated in the postseason until running into Townsend & the way the game was called. Actually, the honors team is a mess. My question about Noel is whether or not Wright State will win enough games for him to garner POY consideration.

I'm a bigger fan of Duffy. That finger injury set him back of course. Field really grew from the start to the end of the season.

Fields is the biggest snub in the conference. He should be on the first team.

My feeling is exactly as you said - these preseason guesses don't mean anything. Nothing. Nada. 2023-24 preseason HoriZoneRT "poll": 1 Northern Kentucky (finished tied for 5th) 2 Milwaukee (tied for 5th) 3 Cleveland State (tied for 7th) 4 Youngstown State (2nd) 5 Wright State (tied for 3rd) 6 Oakland (1st) 7 Robert Morris (9th) 8 IUPUI (10th) 9 Green Bay (tied for 3rd) 10 Purdue Fort Wayne (tied for 7th) 11 Detroit Mercy (11th)* * Well, he got one right. Not even within one spot for any of the others.
