Is Gbbb back? Depends on your definition of "back", however they are certainly better than last year. They played decently against PFW. We must not underestimate them.
Don't know if it is still too early to call this a must win game. But I am very tempted to do so. Losing this game would be highly disappointing, and if we do lose I would start to agree with the people on this board that are describing the season so far as Baldwin-like. I hope we crush them, that would be awesome, but it is nowhere near certain that we even win this.

I'm guessing Milwaukee will be a slight dog in this game.

I'm guessing Milwaukee will be a slight dog in this game. KenPom has Green Bay as a 1 point favorite while T-rank has Milwaukee favored by a point.

Anyone else heading up to GB this weekend? Supposedly a pregame Panthers party at Anduzzis. We'll be at Oneida, anduzzis and behind the Panthers bench. We owe them one after last year.
If we are dogs, I'll definitely be playing Milwaukee.

If this team truly has any "talent" beyond B.J., now would be a good time to show it.

Word is that Green Bay has been busting their butts on both ends of the court under Sunny Wicks. Will we be able to match their intensity?

I can't believe this that old already. It's too funny, yet true. I believe it's some of the issue with this Panthers team.

Our one D1 win is against the 356th best team in the nation according to KenPom, and that came on a last second basket on a neutral floor. There's absolutely zero reason this team should be underestimating anyone at this point, given the way they've been playing. Factor in the fact that this is a conference game, a rival (who beat us last year in our house for one of their three victories) and a road game, and there's really no excuse for this team not be incredibly up for this one.

I thought GB looked pretty decent against Fort Wayne last night, at least in the parts of the game I watched when I skipped through it in about a half hour. While not the Zags, they are far ahead of where they were under Ryan. They showed two qualities that we wish we had right now - team cohesiveness and a solid experienced point guard in Noah Reynolds. It would not surprise me if Sunny Wicks this year will have the success of Bart Lundy of last year. Just based on what I have seen from the snippets of GB last night and the Panthers this year, and setting bias aside, I would say GB is the better team right now.
I just hope the game does not result in more excuses - a traffic jam in the construction zone on I-43 that made for difficult travel, the shadows of Lambeau Field, the shock of seeing so many satin jackets or whatever.

However, I understand that for our sake as Panther fans, a win over GB would be good for our psyche.

The sad truth is that so far this year, the quality of this Milwaukee team has been much closer to Will Ryan’s Phoenix last year than even Sunny Wicks’ Phoenix this year. It sucks that it took a month of basketball for Green Bay to surpass Milwaukee again.
Hopefully the tides turn tomorrow, but between the team’s lack of effort and cohesion, and even more troubling, Lundy’s making of lazy excuses for this lack of effort and cohesion, I’m thinking Green Bay will win by at least 15.
I hope I’m wrong, but I’m just going based on what I’ve seen. I’d rather be happy than be right in this case.
I’ve been debating going to this game this week. At the beginning of the year, this was a no brainer road game to attend. Now, I’m really disliking the idea of being angry for a 2 hour drive home after the game.
