And he’s not F’N leaving! Where would he go? This is the correct level for BJ to play at, he really needs to round his game out on the defensive end. Guy that long and agile should be better on the defensive end of the floor. I am actually not worried about losing any rotation pieces. Hearing a lot of talk from outside of our fanbase that he should leave. He is certainly good enough to play in a better conference, but he could continue to be the guy here. I wouldn’t leave either. Just a lot of talk from people saying he SHOULD leave, not saying it makes sense. And he’s staying anyway.

He'd get isolated and attacked constantly in a P5 conference.

Lundy was on the College Sports Show on 97.3 this morning and talked about having to re-recruit your own team because they are being offered money by people on social media and agents.
Also said the team had three days completely off last week to re-charge and during that time he was in Texas watching JUCO games.

As a fan, I would be thrilled to have B.J. back for another season.

I haven't heard anyone say BJ "should leave" but he "could leave".

He'd get isolated and attacked constantly in a P5 conference. Fo you think you're accomplishing something positive by speaking negatively of current and potential future players? Because you're not What is negative? You dont agree that Freeman has to improve on the defensive end? Or you think he should transfer up to a P5 conference? I am going to call it like I see it, Freeman is our best offensive player in probably a decade, but he could be a professional if he honed his game in all facets. Defensively being the big aspect. This is the right place for him to do that.

If you think he's in the best place he can be here in Milwaukee, then just say it. There's no need to make it some sort of insult about how he's not good enough to be in other places because he's not good enough at x, y, or z. We can appreciate what our players are good at and acknowledge what they could improve on without being a nasty bummer about it.

Well people are talking about him transferring up, I prefer to not speculate on guys not even in the portal, but some posters have already.

He'd get isolated and attacked constantly in a P5 conference. There are a lot of conferences between the Horizon and a P5 conferences. And regardless, NIL makes the possibility of lateral moves competition-wise sounding good to the players.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned recently but bears repeating- Milwaukee is a place where you are across the street from an NBA team. And you have NBA scouts who do come out to games (Antoine Davis, Patrick Baldwin Jr., Gholston, Freeman just to name a few).
You do not get that kind of exposure at Podunk U. And you cannot buy that kind of exposure. it a competitive advantage that we and other NBA city urban universities have, but too seldom leverage.
