i was at the game. thought we were going to drop 100 on them after the first half. then Davis started to ball, and made some ridiculous shots that only the great ones make. he easily could have had 50 points. i think we let up a little bit early in the second half and that gave them hope. more than once I said to the guy next to me in the media area ' where was this shooting on Monday?" the Markeith injury looked bad and the fact he didnt put any weight on it was obviously concerning. He had played great up to that point. still a win is a won is a win. 11-4 in conference, 17-8 overall. alone in 2nd a half game out.

The officiating was terrible. It has been all season long. We need to get out of the Horizon League. Not only will it help the program's image, but maybe we can have some competent officials do our games. Literally reviewing things that don't need to be reviewed. No way we should have been leaving that game at 920. Also, I understand Davis IS THE LEADING NCAA SCORER, blah blah...but dude gets every call. Multiple times we barely swiped him and he gets the call. The refs did have some make up calls with illegal screens though too.

As someone who broke their wrist and missed the last half of their senior year because of getting undercut like that, I'm not gonna get too mad at Rand for reacting like that, especially because he barely reacted. THIS. Rand needs to be enrolled in an anger management course Totally disagree, Kyle. Rand showed incredible restraint after he got up from the officials missing that flagrant and dangerous undercut. Rand's attitude, and leadership abilities, remind me of a Matt Tiby. He seems to fire up the team, and they always play better, looser, and more effectively on both ends when he's on the court - even with the occasional missed alley-oop (which isn't always Rand). I really wish he'd see the court a lot more - and not at Bol's expense!

Watching BJ in person is so fun. He has that awesome jump stop/euro step down and can get to the basket with ease. He also hit some big 3s late when it looked like the game was on the verge of slipping away.

And also rand is one of my favorite players on the team so nothing against him as a player. But the refs called the foul, they’ll look at it, as they did for the hard foul called against Rand in the first half. We’re up by 20? Sure, get his face about. Close game? After we lost the last one? PARTLY cause you got Td up? Chill out Ahmad. Moral of the story, there’s a time and place for that. And that was Not it

Kudos to KP for trying to push Rand out of the way in an effort to avoid a techinical. KP saw it coming but Rand's reaction was so quick it was too late.

Markeith came in to Goolsby's with a boot and crutches. 😕 I Heard bad sprain from someone on the team. Pfew!!! I have no voice left!!! If it's a HIGH ankle sprain, the recovery time is six to eight weeks or more because he's an athlete. If it's a LOW ankle sprain, the recovery time would be much shorter. Perhaps the rest of the regular season.

With our 17th win tonight, we've tied the 14th-winningest season in our 40-year Division 1 history, matching our win total from 2008-09. That's a pretty impressive feat in Bart Lundy's first season as coach. Next up: our 18-win season of 1990-91.

Sportsbooks should start doing an over/under for official reviews. During our games, it should probably be set at 2.5 reviews.

Perhaps that's merely pie-eyed optimism, but that would be a good outcome given what I witnessed tonight.

Man that's a bummer. But at least it isn't even worse. I sure hope we see more of Rand now, because we're gonna be short some athleticism without Browning.

I think that's what we all would like to see (the analytics certainly support it), but so much of this is up to Ahmad himself. You have perhaps just a few games left in your college career, Ahmad. What do you want your legacy here to be?

Missing Browning is going to be a big issue in some ways, but he also is good for 4-5 boneheaded plays a game, mostly turnovers. Of course he sprains his ankle in one of the cleanest games he’s played all year.
