But has any PBS team ever played as undisciplined as Milwaukee did tonight?

But has any PBS team ever played as undisciplined as Milwaukee did tonight? No, this would've been an okay game by a PBS team. Eh, they crushed the equivalent team last year (IUPUI) by over 30 points. And Green Bay by double digits. But yeah, there were almost certainly many worse PBS games. Concordia St. Paul is the only one that approaches this much embarrassment though. UIC in 2014, but that was pre-PBS. But yeah, I’m just frustrated and saying stupid things right now. It really does feel like the Panthers are frauds right now. I know they aren’t, but it feels like it. |

There's nothing to get. This is D1 college basketball. The goal is to win, period. Impressing a Laker's head coach who's seemingly coaching them to a non-playoff season, even with the expanded playoff format, does no good for the university or the other men on this team. Ham has played a "whopping" 21 minutes in 7 games - which makes him a DNP in 16 games. This was a close game throughout, no matter what the reason for it being that close - it was too close to put in a guy who's played the third least minutes on your roster. Baker started, at least in part, because he played very well the previous game in extended playing time. IS THIS IS D1 BASKETBALL? PLEASE Learn to type and comment or get off the board. This one hurt
Why did Rand have to go for that dunk?
Why did Browning try to showboat in a close game and wind up missing what should've been an easy two?
Why did Lundy call a timeout allowing GB to set up their last shot?
It's almost like they were so sure of a win that they didn't think they actually had to play close to their abilities. How many really poor shots did they put up, sometimes with defenders clearly in position to block it?
I hope that most of the crowd comes back but I'm not banking on it. Losing to a 2-22 team with first place in the HL on the line is not the kind of look that gets people to come back no matter how exciting the game might have been.

Can't worry about attendance. If people really support this team, they will be in attendance on Thursday and Saturday.
Defense must get better. Too many open looks from three.
What's with Justin Thomas. We get no scoring from him. This team that was balanced, now we need BJ Freeman to save us.

Haha, thank you for the reminders bizzork. The fouling at the end of regulation thing… isn’t that a coach’s philosophy thing? This is not the first time Lundy didn’t foul in that situation. This just feels so much worse because the expectations are raised so much. We aren’t fighting for a home tournament game, we’re fighting for the top. And it’s still there for them. If they win out, they win the regular season championship. But it sure doesn’t feel realistic after tonight.
I forgot one more quirk that made the difference in the game tonight. BJ Freeman makes a free throw, then the refs review the play, and (correctly) say Jalen should be at the line, and he proceeds to miss the first free throw. That’s the difference. They got the call right eventually, but how often does something like that happen?
But frankly, it should have been a blow out in the Panthers’ favor. And they blew it. And it hurts.
