Leading to play on the road is tough and takes times. This is even more apparent for a team that has minimal d1 experience. (Is this allowed or is it to positive for me?)

We haven't gotten a technical yet, so that's a plus!

We've regressed big time offensively. Need to stop looking to BJ to carry us and look for shots. And the bigs have to make the point blank shots. Can't play our pressure D when we don't score. Hopefully we get another big second half, as we have in some of our other stinker-first-half-games, but this struggle to play two consecutive good halves of basketball feels awfully familiar... maybe BJ should come off the bench again?

Bart Lundy's pre-game radio interview was very interesting to listen to. He commented how his players do not yet fit all of the requirements for the type team he will eventually have. I am paraphrasing and it is too much for me to summarize here. It will be worth listening to when it becomes available later.

It seems that the Curse of January 24th did not leave with the previous coach..

Rand did not start the second half. He must not "have it between the ears," to coin a phrase by Scott Warras about him.

I didn't get to see the first half, but my initial impression of the video is of a team digging its own grave.

If the Panthers keep on playing like this, the upcoming IUPUI and Green Bay games will be a real struggle. No they won't. When the team played like this earlier in the year, they were down to North Park at halftime. The Panthers are capable of so much better, but if they play like this, IUPUI and Green Bay will at least be competitive. IUPUI has not been blown out their last few games.

Down 16 here and just forced a turnover on the full court press. Still time if we hit some 3s.

Rand did not start the second half. He must not "have it between the ears," to coin a phrase by Scott Warras about him. Rand has been off for quite some time now. It hasn't been overly noticeable because Moses took some of his minutes and was productive, but now his productivity has fallen off the same cliff. Vinnie has been the one big man that's made an impact inside today. Jalen has a couple buckets, but both were defensive lapses.

Never for a moment underestimate the mental aspects of this game. Someone needs to impart a sense of hope to these guys.
