BJ Freeman on the radio postgame show:
*I told the guys, just keep positive, we've been through this before.
*They got tired at the 10 minute mark, we just executed after that.
*1st half we held the ball a lot, took bad shots. 2nd half we played more aggressive.
*Glad to be #1 and bringing the City back a W.
*I am having fun. I don't like being down by 20 but I love it.
*In the locker room, we started dancing when we came in.
It was cool to listen to Scott Warras tell BJ about Clay Tucker, who was at the Wright State game Thursday. BJ did not seem to know anything about him. It made an old guy like me feel REALLY old.

I'm literally still shaking. That final few minutes was some of the most stressful basketball I've ever seen. Adrenaline! When we were in Indy for the 1st Panther NCAA tournament game, Mrs. Cactus had such a hangover from the adrenaline rush after that nail-biter that she was literally sick the next whole day. You should be OK though, we won this one! |

Great comeback and it’s incredible that we swept NKU in the regular season this year. This was a 23 point comeback against the league leaders at their place, and NKU is possibly the strongest defensive team in the conference.
Just one note for this team: it’s more fun when we don’t fall behind big early. It’s better if we can have a +21 second half after a +10 first half.
