Do you actually think a first year coach is going to get calls? Respect is earned not given guys! Like these "refs" deserve any respect. They belong back in the Pee-wee league, at best. Please sir unless you ever played organized sports , which you would know poop happens, dont be a hater. |

Lundy knows exactly what he's doing there getting T'd up. This team needs a fire lit under it's you know what because they played accordingly to the score. The refs overall did not cause this dumpster fire.
15 turnovers, 11 made field goals. Gave up 8 Offensive Rebounds. 2 people have more than 2 points, and only 3 people have 2 points.
This team a) wasn't prepared to play b) thought they could sleepwalk through the game or c) is just having a bad night. I'm going to put most of my money on b combined with c, giving Coach the benefit of the doubt.

Like these "refs" deserve any respect. They belong back in the Pee-wee league, at best. They need refs at every level if you think its so easy you should go do it. I bet if you did youd understand its not an easy job. I used to cover HS football and basketball games. The refs there were LEAGUES better. |

It’s easy to blame the refs. Fun, too. But if that’s the attitude the Panthers and Coach Lundy have right now, that’s a real loser’s attitude. They deserve to be down big right now. The turnovers are a real problem again. And from what I’ve seen, this was the worst half of basketball the team has played since at least Oakland. Inexcusable. This. The score has 1% to do with officiating. 99% to do with our play. Bad shooting. Turning the ball over. Undisciplined. Not many teams in any league we'll beat playing like this. Chalk it up to being on the road, and hopefully not getting big heads. Need to play well (or at least respectable) in the 2nd half and build some momentum for Saturday. NKU is going to come after us and try to make a statement. I agree that bad play is why the score is the way it is, but there's something to say about what bad refereeing can do to a team's confidence and overall mentality toward the game. |
