Another game where the Panthers are finding a way to pull a close game out. You gotta love what is being built here.
Edit: Larrivee just told us the Panthers closed out the game on a 13-2 run.

Well, the Panthers won the game even though I don’t think they deserved it. It is nice to win a game (against a non IUPUI or Green Bay Horizon League team) that we really didn’t deserve to win. That shows this team is pretty good. This kind of performance won’t suffice against Youngstown by a long shot.
We really need Rand and Johnson to get going again.

We didn't play great, but Robert Morris honestly looked a lot better than I thought they were. Once again shout out to BJ Freeman for carrying us down the stretch. Overall, I couldn't of really even dreamed of a 7-2 conference start at the start of the year, so i'm happy.

Browning was a liability tonight. It really shows that he was a PBS recruit, but hot damn is BJ Freeman always a breath of fresh air.

I think Jamison is ready to run the point full time. He made a lot of good decisions and passes. Could have gotten even more assists if people hit open shots. We didn’t turn the ball over very much tonight either.

I’d just like to bring up a few key facts after this one. Believe it or not, we won the turnover battle by 10!! And Markeith/Jamison held Cheeks to 3-11 shooting for just 7 points. Talk about a defensive masterclass. I won’t rant about how awesome BJ looks because everyone else already has (but he looks really F’n good). Looking forward to the huge matchup on Saturday vs YSU. I hope to see plenty of you guys there! Go Panthers!
