Another thing, if the fanbase continues to grow or crowds are similar to last night, they need to open more of the concession stands in the arena. Lines were way too long at the open stands yesterday.

I literally tweeted this out during Saturday's game. Wondering where he has been. As a former Pounce, I am seriously disappointed that they couldn't find ANYONE to fill the suit. The winter break excuse is lame. They could've put a cheerleader in there, reached out to alumni like someone else suggested, or heck reach out to other mascots in the area (ahem...me...) I would love to get back in there...it sure would bring some more energy than whoever has been in it this year...

I commented in the survey multiple times about this. At least a small grab-and-go setup with healthier options would be nice.

The next two games are also before school resumes. My guess is they have not been very proactive in finding a substitute but perhaps would have accepted your offer??? Let us know their response.

"Hello, Whitefish Bay, Shorewood, Greendale, Nicolet, West Allis Hale, Cedarburg, Racine Case, Kenosha Bradford, Muskego, Brookfield Central, Franklin, Oak Creek, Delavan-Darien, Mukwonago, Arrowhead, Homestead High School? Could we borrow your cheerleaders and band for a night?"

I know it’s the break but a lot of students are still on campus. My nephew goes there and it’s not a ghost town in the dorms. Did a lot leave, yes? A lot still here? Yes.
It’s pretty easy to create a part-time position or work study job and have a student available to play Pounce when school isn’t in session.
Not trying to be negative but these things ( like no band, all can’t be on vacation) are all valid concerns. Coach Lundy is doing his part to change the program/culture so other people must complain and help turn around the other issues too instead of waiting for a overflow of wins. Solid crowd last game but I agree with whoever posted and said it didn’t seem like a college game and atmosphere.

Hiring a good coach didn’t all of a sudden make the athletic department and Chapman hall competent. I don’t care if it’s winter break, summer break, spring break or if it’s f***ing Christmas. Band ,cheerleaders, dance team and pounce all need to be there.
We finally have something good here for the first time in years and the University is going to keep pissing this away. Yes fans are showing up for the good basketball that Lundy has us playing but the rest of the experience of games is still some of the worst around. Have they changed up the in game music in the last 10 years? Any additional promos? More concession stands? Better halftime/timeout entertainment?
This program is still being treated like a d3 basketball team besides the fact that they got lucky and hired a great coach who’s doing everything by he can on the court and off.

While we are at it, how about an alumni pep band during the extended student absences? I've got to think there are some musically inclined alumni that would love the opportunity in return for some tee shirts and to relive their good old days. They were paid money as students, I doubt you'll get enough of them to come back for a shirt. Hiring a good coach didn’t all of a sudden make the athletic department and Chapman hall competent. Maybe people need to start filling up inboxes. We finally have something good here for the first time in years and the University is going to keep pissing this away. Ev-ree-bud-dee-clap-your-hands *CLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAPCLAP* Don't you know, pump it up? They've played Jump On It at a couple games this year, but I'd like to revisit my original suggestion back in the day and have them put together a quick video using the original music video (hilarious, btw) and some cuts of Pounce, cheerleaders, players and hell, Mark Mone doing the dance, invite the people to get up and do it too. It's easy and gets people laughing and having a good time. Little traditions can build up over time. You know what helps do that? HAVING THE BAND, CHEERLEADERS AND MASCOT AT ALL THE GAMES. I'm not really shouting there but I felt the need to underscore what everyone here is saying.

The Taco Thursday promos were awesome...2 tacos and a drink I think for 5 or so? Simple promos like that make it even more enticing for families to come out. Not sure if they still have it, but I plan to be there Thursday so guess we will see then.

At least try! Could the athletic department collaborate with the alumni association on something like this? I agree with the concept of filling up inboxes. However, the "choir" includes Chris Zills and most likely other members of the athletic department (at least those who care enough beyond getting their paychecks directly deposited). We know our comments on here are being read by members of the athletic department. It is OK to posts them here. Generally, a group of people with similar motives can come up with better ideas than individually.

I've had conversations in the past with Julius about the music at games. He said he wasnt in charge of that but he would let the people in charge know of my feedback. It's better than it was in the past but still far from good. At least they got rid of Gangnam Style.
He did say before the year started they would have a DJ at games. Not sure what happened with that. This wouldve been a good idea for the games the band did not attend. At least have somebody. I also miss the in game announcer from last year. That dude was AWESOME.
I think losing Leah and Julius back to back at the start of the season wasnt an ideal situation either. They were both experienced and knew the program well.

He is located by the Pounce head where the team comes out of the tunnel. Yes, losing Leah and Julius put the squeeze on the rest of the limited staff.
