According to Todd Rosiak, Keon Edwards twisted his ankle in practice (questionable tomorrow) and B.J. Freeman was serving a one game disciplinary suspension Lundy did say on that coaching podcast a couple weeks ago that he's strict about studies and punctuality. Yeah, hopefully it’s nothing too worrisome.

Few thoughts on the game. Jameson and Gelo are both going to store a lot this year and can really shoot it. Rand is a freak athlete. Great defense and dunks not sure how much else he has but it won’t matter about 80% of the time. JT had a a rough 3 minute stint where he got lose with the ball but thought he looked good. His length and ability to play PG is huge. Pullian looked to be aggressive right away which is a good thing to see. Vin looked like a rotation player on the defensive end. Offensively was rough still. Would have liked to see more of Brian Taylor as he seemed very under control when he played at the end of the game. Markeith did some of everything and looks like the perfect wing for this system.

I know we shouldn’t overreact because it was a D III team, but, that was an incredible performance! We beat them by just 6 last year and this year by 56! I’m not saying a game vs MSOE is a tell-all but that was impressive by all standards. There were some instances where the defense was a little overly aggressive but we were able to recover relatively quickly. I also loved the ball movement on offense, what a refreshing change from the dark years of PBS! Looking forward to the game vs Purdue tomorrow to really see what we are made of. Go Panthers!

It was hard to take much away from the Black and Gold Scrimmage, but one thing that stood out to me was Pullian seemed to be all over the boards. Good to see that translate to a real game.

Pullian is very athletic. He’s just a good player. We appear to be damn good at guard with Stuart and Jamison both appearing to be top tier. Browning on the wing with his athleticism.

My biggest takeaway is we have guards who are strong with the ball and can finish through contact. Jamison, Pullian and Markeith all had finishes in traffic. We will see how that translates against the trees tomorrow.

Crazy considering he’s listed at 6 foot. I saw some player props had him at o/u 4 tomorrow. Will be interested to see how he gets in there with edey, furst, and the other purdue big men. He had 8 tonight.

Have to comment, Gelo and Jameson walked by me coming out of half time to the floor... they are not their listed heights
