Have we made a FB group? That could help to draw more people in. It also would be easier to spread word of games, events, gatherings, etc.

Can't make the game, listen on 101.7 FM and 1510 AM. Scott Warras did a good job with all the new players on the roster.

Milwaukee needs to start recognizing who Bart Lundy is with 5 in row. I know they are not a major but the Panthers are D1.

Staying on the side lines is not going to get interest in UWM Basketball. This board has so many topics that talking points should not be an issue. Want to be back seat to those other D1 schools in Wisconsin that is up to you. Go Panthers!!!

The city of Milwaukee and UWM Alum need to decide if it wants to be the backseat to Madison and the UW System for basketball.

Want to be back seat to those other D1 schools in Wisconsin that is up to you. Go Panthers!!! The city of Milwaukee and UWM Alum need to decide if it wants to be the backseat to Madison and the UW System for basketball. It's not up to us. Every one of us is 100% in on this school taking its place as the Michigan State to Madison's Michigan. We need the 250,000+ living alumni, the city of Milwaukee and the greater Milwaukee area to get on board with that. Most of them are not college sports fans. If they are, they are most likely Badgers fans. Until this team is on the level where they are playing and beating the Badgers in basketball on a consistent basis, they're not going to see us as an option. As long as we are a Horizon League program, most of them are not going to see us as anything except another team to possibly collect with their other sports teams in Wisconsin. How do you get those people on board? I'd start with...this board. Millennials and older like message boards like this. Hand out the URL: UWMFreak.com. Talk up the team at the water cooler. Get an extra season ticket and bring a new friend every game. RAISE YOUR CHILDREN TO LOVE THE MILWAUKEE PANTHERS AND DESPISE BUCKY BADGER. Bucky has a football team? Let's play baseball. No need to be overly sh*tty towards people for liking the Badgers, as I used to be. But be playful about it. Treat Badger fans like their equals and have an answer for everything and they'll eventually be so annoyed with your smarminess they'll make themselves look dumb in front of everyone else in the room. Point Panthers. It's going to take a generation, but there are now some UWM alumni who were raised specifically to be Milwaukee Panthers fans. A couple of them on this board were little kids going to games when I was a student. And I can't stress this enough: the school has to make basketball a priority. I believe they've *kinda* done it with the practice facility, but I am still pretty annoyed there's only one court. No worries - plenty of opportunity for fundraising an expansion down the road. For now, get everyone you can to come out to games.

For now, get everyone you can to come out to games. This should especially be true for those of you with tickets. Unless you have another obligation you can't avoid, you should REALLY be trying as hard as you can to come out to the games, regardless of the opponent. I happened to encounter a guy with a Panthers sweatshirt on while I was shopping with my girlfriend today, and he was aware of how good the team was, and I told him that the team is going to have home games in January, and he should try to get to some, and he sounded very interested. There ARE people out there who are aware of the Panthers and how good they are right now, and the more we can help sell them the price of the tickets, the chance to meet the players at Goolsby's after the game, and the success of the team, we can continue to grow the crowds, to even 3,000 - 4,000, which would be a substantial crowd in the Arena.
