Given that she won't be holding a public forum next Monday or any other day soon, I think that there are some very legitimate questions that should be asked of our A.D. about her moves. Why this reversal in hiring practice? Doesn't it seem like the lower-level head coach is what she should have done from start? What has she learned from her mistakes? It's too bad we had to suffer through 68-116 (and lose countless fans and sponsors) to get to this point. And is Mark Mone going to make an appearance? It would be unsatisfying if he isn't on hand to answer questions as well.

And for the record, I'm very optimistic about the hire after what I've heard and read so far, so this should in no way be a negative reflection on BL.

I'm thankful lessons have been learned and am willing to leave it at that. Actions speak louder than words. I am impressed with the actions of late. They are better than any words that could be said.
In retrospect, should Bud Haidet have been asked about a reversal in hiring practice when he hired his last men's basketball coach? Or at least sometime between then and his retirement party?

If Chancellor Mone is there, when will he have Athletics report directly to him? Not to be disrespectful AT ALL to Student Affairs and its leadership, but Athletics does not report into Student Affairs at D1 schools except at our school.
Just had a thought....Perhaps our current AD wants it that way - Good way to fly under the radar screen?!
I am sure the Post will be there - Maybe their writer could ask. I'd like to see a story about what other HL school do. I checked briefly and UWGB, Northern Kentucky, and IUPUI don't have Athletics reporting to Student Affairs.
