They did have the App where you could check-in for games and got point for prizes or entries.

2005 was my junior year, i graduated in 2006. my question is, what is a realistic timeline for us to be back in contention for the top of the league and be s real threat to make the dance? 3 years? 4 years. remember tht it took 8 years between NCAA Tournament appearances and the 2014 run was out of the blue.

If Lundy builds the coaching staff correctly, keeps the players he really wants to keep and properly takes advantage of the transfer portal, we could go dancing in 2023. The Horizon League is that kind of awful. The decent teams from this year are losing players to the portal and to graduation. The window is open immediately.

I almost wonder if there's an opportunity for an app that would allow the kids to check into games, then immediately get notifications on chants etc. that they can do. I remember we tried doing that with Twitter, but back then not everyone had a smartphone yet.

We have an opportunity to go to the tournament immediately. That is not my expectation, but as you said, the window is definitely open. In reality, I think Oakland and Northern Kentucky have the returning rosters to be the favorites. If Coach Lundy is everything we hope he is and will be, I would hope we're at or near the top of our league by year 3.

With the one time transfer rule a rebuild can happen so much faster now than just a few years ago.

I posted this elsewhere in the message board but it warrants placement here as well. This company specializes in generating student interest in a program. It was founded by the then-students who started the highly successful GCU Havocs a decade ago. The website contains some good information that sheds lights on what a program needs to do if serious about attacking student apathy. www.biggestfanxp.com/
