What's remarkable to me is the success that we've continued to have in the Horizon League Tournament through all the insanity. By my count, we've gone 25-14 since 2003 and 8-4 since 2016! That's after starting out 1-6.

I hope TonyT is wrong. I would love nothing more than to send this future MVC bottom feeder out of the Horizon tonight. I’ve always disliked UIC since the Jimmy Collins days. Would be a silver lining to win tonight in an otherwise bad season. |

I would 1,000 times rather lose to UIC by 20 tonight if that indignity would just be the catalyst for evicting the people who have destroyed our program.
Who cares who wins or loses tonight between the 297th and 333rd ranked programs in the country? The fire has been gone from the UIC - UWM rivalry for a decade at least. Pearl's gone, Collins is gone to the great beyond, and Jeter owned them. This isn't a rivalry game. It's just the final game for one pathetic team and the penultimate game for the other. The rest of the country -- hell, the rest of the HL -- literally doesn't give a sh*t about this game, nor should they. Even for our players, it's just an annoying delay before the transfer portal beckons.
