Yep. He sat in front of Braun. They seemed fine with the team getting pasted. They spent a majority of the 2nd half in the Hardwood Club. She seems to be surrounded by yes men/women at all times. Speaking of the Hardwood club, what a complete joke of a fan experience that is, half the time the food looks inedible and old and the other half of the time its chips or something. How hard would it be to run a dollar slice of pizza night or something decent for the fans. This program is like all the worst parts of the Flint Tropics without any Jackie Moon to make it fun. Once home boy with the long hair moves on from MCing the games it will be about as bad as it can get. I feel extra bad for the cheer and dance squads, they look like they put in as much work for the games as the coaching staff. They have to go out there and dance for a couple hundred mostly disgruntled fans. And finally the final sh*t cookie goes to the HL for how awful their schedule is nothing more soul sucking then watching 5 UWM home games in a row over the course of 2 weeks. I couldn’t agree more about the Hardwood Club. The food is absolutely disgusting. The ham sandwiches were like eating rubber. There are plenty of “cheap” food items that they could give away. There should be popcorn and water at minimum every single game. |

The Hardwood Club “peaked” with chili dogs Friday and ham sliders a few weeks ago. Was that only warm food offerings all season? Otherwise, just stale chips and popcorn that soccer moms give away after Rex games Saturday morning. It is embarrassing to the point that I wouldn’t even promote it.
Finally, my eyes must be going. No way I saw 1000 fans today.

Hypothetical... but the best-case scenario- PBJ returns for IUPUI. And damnit PBJ stays in the lineup and shows the NBA he isn't a Glass Joe. And we finally extend a winning streak further than 2. All the way through Indy- and hear me out on this- on through all the way to the Elite. Eight. (minimum)  I'm kidding. I'm prepared for no more PBJ and a 1st Rd. bounce from the least exclusive club in the whole world. :/ go panthers press on. PS: I was loud today about my vehement stance that Amanda Braun needs to be removed from Milwaukee Athletics. And replaced. I'm sorry if anyone in my section was offended because of their kids, but someone had to say it. |

PS: I was loud today about my vehement stance that Amanda Braun needs to be removed from Milwaukee Athletics. And replaced. I'm sorry if anyone in my section was offended because of their kids, but someone had to say it. Eh, at one point I yelled “Hey Braun, would you pay me $350,000 to be a failure too?” I don’t have a voice that carries, and even if I did, the arena is quite large, so I doubt anyone other than a few poor fans in my section heard it. I think a lot of things were yelled at today’s game. |

I'll add this: even if we don't discuss the past and ignore for a moment that PBS is 56-90 overall (and 40-73 with his own guys), the present at 9-20 (and trending DOWN) is still plenty bleak. The fact that our two administrative "leaders" are having the time of their lives while the Titanic takes on water is at the very least disconcerting. While out on my walk after the game, it occurred to me that they likely read this board (or have it read to them) and laugh out loud! After all, their lucrative incomes don't change either way.

Chicago area alumni who came up to the game with wife and three kids plus met my bro who is an alumni as well. After dropping $$$$ on (6) tickets plus the drive, here are my thoughts:
1. A bit pissed to say the least that Ticketmaster had basically no seats available on line. I wanted up close seats and ended up way overpaying. Had I known there was only 2K in attendance, I would have gone to the window to buy tickets. I WAY overpaid and there is NO excuse for this at all!!
2. Food offerings were not so bad - I've been to plenty of college games at other schools and this is not so bad.
3. Fan store was a joke. Not open after game so we went in during HT. Limited selection and way overpriced. They were chasing us out and had the doors closed right as 2nd half started.
4. Block off the upper seats/sections so it's not so sparse
5. Need more students at the game
6. Agree with comments about dancers - Great job!
7. Game Itself:
(a) We could not counter with FTW hitting the 3s
(b) Should have started to press way earlier. What pressing we did was too little/too late.

Feels like a good time to remind everyone that with the tarps drawn, the Arena seats 6,250, not 10,783. So when you start your crowd count, you start with that. I secured this information over a beer with two former highly ranked officials in the UWM athletics administration. I'll leave it at that.
