Haven’t seen this created yet, makes sense as I don’t think anything is confirmed yet. But with today’s news, PBS and our athletic department has a pretty important task constructing an OOC schedule. Hopefully we can get a few power schools, including bouts with Shaka and Bucky (maybe with one of those at home)

Hopefully we can get a few power schools, including bouts with Shaka and Bucky (maybe with one of those at home) Low- and mid-Major programs usually find it difficult get high-Major programs to schedule a game, because for a program from a Power 5 conference, being upset by a low- or mid-Major team has negative consequences come seeding time for the NCAA Tournament. Bo Ryan had Milwaukee on the schedule when Rob Jeter was coaching here. When Ryan retired, Greg Gard, not having the connection with Jeter or Milwaukee, stopped scheduling games with the Panthers. It would be nice if landing PBJ managed to get Milwaukee a game or two that wouldn't have otherwise happened, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I think Milwaukee still owes games to North Dakota, Kansas City, and Eastern Illinois. I’m not sure if the Western Michigan game last year would finish up the home and home started two years ago. Given today’s announcement, I wouldn’t be shocked if any of these games were postponed to another year to try to get a buy game against a higher level opponent.
Pure speculation on my part, but perhaps Milwaukee will schedule a game at Northwestern this year, given the Baldwins’ connection to that school.

I'll always lobby for the high-profile preseason tournaments televised by ESPN, ESPN, ESPNU, CBS Sports Network, etc. That seems to make as much sense now as ever. I would think that the mothership would lunge at the opportunity and have Mike Schmitz visit and give input on PBJ's game.

I would assume we'll have as many nationally televised games this year as we've had in like the last 5 years combined.

Plus, those are filled years in advance in most case. I would imagine Milwaukee will try to host a MTE event. They would want the home games, as people will show up at games.

I REALLY hope they have their return game with Kansas City this year. I really enjoyed the city when I went to the Kansas game and I had to cancel a trip there last November.

I would think the Horizon/Summit League Series will start.

I really wish the SEC would schedule cupcake games in basketball like they do in football. This game in February > in November.

This must be a different tournament. The Fort Myers Tournament has California (Pac-12) Florida (SEC), Ohio State (Big Ten) & Seton Hall (Big East)
