No. I was all for him a few years ago but he's regressed.

I must confess that the last three days on the board have been eerily reminiscent to those of March, 2016. Something is surely afoot and per usual it's nothing especially positive for MEN'S basketball!

If PBS were to leave, especially for free, I would definitely not consider it "nothing especially positive".

Season Tickets!!!! Get your Season Tickets !!!!! Paul, I share your sense of foreboding. The whole thing is downright weird. Makes me think something else is going on. I can not get the Northwestern thing out of my mind. Anyway, maybe that is more of a reason than thinking Jr is a diva. What led me to that possibility frankly were the following: <HIs "The Pick Is In" monicur <Saying he is 75% sure. <Liking things like the Father/Son coaching thing and them withdrawing the Like <Other little teasers along these lines. For now will day he is not egotistical and playing games and acting like his signing will be like Moses .... Regarding potential coaches I do agree with Fran that we should get a coach with proven Head Coaching experience. Wish that would have been the case in 2005 when Bud deviated from the Ryan/Pearl formula .

I have found it odd a new poster just started and brings this as a new thread.

Steve, you're one of the very few who seemingly have been around the program since the real J.Martin (Klotsche, that is).
In this case, I believe what you just said was all that Fran was trying to convey. We must have these three things going forward: a new coach with sustained success as a head coach at any college level, one who has experience successfully recruiting the Midwest, especially WISCONSIN, and the ability to unite and energize the fan base. No politics. No previous affiliations. Clean slate. Clean break.

What I'm referring to is the sudden emergence of a clandestine poster seemingly trying again to use the board to rally support for a specific decision or candidate.

Paul
I agree with the above. Best approach under the circumstances for all concerned. Hey, if my White Sox can bring back Tony LaRussa how about Charley Parsley? Ok ok

RIP Charlie. He passed almost 25 years ago. Fun fact: in 1949, Charlie played for the Philadelphia Warriors in the NBA!

steve, I have a hunch that we are the only two on the board who have attended home games in Milwaukee of three of the four Major League baseball teams that have called Milwaukee home, and more than likely a road game here of the fourth.

The Chicago White Sox, of course, who played a good number of their home games in their second home city — Milwaukee — in ‘68 and ‘69. I went to many of them. That’s why guys like Steve and I have abhorred wine sipping, effete Cubs fans for half a century rather than just since the Brewers went to the NL. The Sox represented the beer drinking, hard working south side of Chicago — a perfect match for Milwaukee.
No Neck was our hero!
