Day one (of three) of the 2021 draft.
Brian Gutekunst has a plan, and he's not as concerned with communicating it to the fans as he is executing it.
Who wants to speculate? Do the Packers stay pat at #29, trade up, trade back? If they use their pick, who do they take?

Well that is the end of that. There might have been another ring (or 2) in the short-term future for Green Bay. We'll never know.
Not surprising after the front office moves and Rodgers own openness about his desire to retire in Green Bay but not knowing if it'll work out like that from a front-office/planning standpoint.
I hope Rodgers enjoys the Raiders or 49ers or wherever he winds up. He was really fun to watch and 1 of the only 2 Packer QBs I've known my entire life (Don "Majik Man" Majkowski wasn't all that inspiring).
But whatever happens I hope this doesn't get dragged out like the Favre drama.

The Packers aren't trading Rodgers period. For one, it would be a huge cap hit, even if they could find a team to help defray some of the cost. Second, we don't have a guy waiting in the wings like Rodgers was in 2007.

In a nutshell, I support Rodgers. As Nick suggested, the odds of getting a third straight Hall of Fame quarterback are nil. Let's consult him on personnel moves and get him whatever he needs.

Well we might have an A Rodgers -A Rodgers QB-WR combo this year. Packers pick Amari Rodgers , WR from Clemson, in the 3rd round.

Rodgers and the Packers have come to an agreement per ESPN. basically, Rodgers plays out this season, and if he is still unhappy with how things are going at the end of the season, then the Packers will trade him in the next offseason. the Packers have voided the last season of his contract, the 2023 season, which will save them quite a bit of money. Rodgers is set to reach several significant franchise records this season, for instance he is 31 TDs away from breaking Favre's team passing TD mark of 442. this will be his 17th season with the Packers , breaking a tie with Favre and Bart Starr for the longest tenure.
