Looking at the plays in the miracle run of 33-9. Panthers shot 11/13. 4/6 from 3. 7/9 foul line. And unless I'm mistaken scored on 15 of our last 18 possessions in regulation, settling for one point only once. Almost impossible.

Unless I'm mistaken, I believe that the greatest comeback in NCAA D-1 history is 29 points. The comeback started in the first half. We just overcame a 24-point deficit in six and half minutes!!!!! According to KenPom, this is one of the two least likely comebacks he has on record (his record goes back to 2002) less than a 1-in-3000 shot that we win. FWIW, the CSU game earlier this year was the previous least likely comeback of the season.

The other weird thing I guess you can say, that both come backs happened to the two best teams in the league. Which makes the loses to Purdue Fort Wayne and such more mindblowinmg.

Just as the loss to Concordia St. Paul three years ago was especially confounding coming as it did on the heels of the win at Iowa State. I was at both and still can't figure it out.

Then they had that insane comeback that Sunday after Concordia st. Paul. I would know, I had Milwaukee ML in Vegas that day.

Was it against Florida International? I think it was Elon. Fun fact: Elon's coach from 1927-37 was named D.C. "Peahead" Walker.
