Query: odds of Suter winning 20 pitching exclusively from the bullpen? Or at least topping the pitching staff in wins?
It's the 500th win in Craig Counsell's tenure as the manager.
The Crew is now at 66-44, a winning percentage of .600, which puts them on pace to win 97 games for the season.

It's the 500th win in Craig Counsell's tenure as the manager. pretty high to both questions, I would say. he's been very unlucky in run support to put it mildly. Craig is now 63 wins from tying Phil Garners record for most wins by a Brewers manager. garner went 563-617 with the Crew from 1992-99.

Brent Suter has eight wins in relief this season. He is on pace to be a 20 game winner. It is highly unlikely he could continue at this pace, but it is an interesting tidbit. Suter has a long way to go for the record. Roy Face had 18 wins as a reliever for Pittsburgh in 1959, when teams played only 154 games. More recently, Mark Eichorn had 14 wins from the bullpen for Toronto in 1986. It would be interesting to know what the Brewer franchise record is. I researched the win situation for the Raptor n/k/a the Vulture several weeks ago. Here you go.

brewers have given up the fewest runs in the majors with 404. the only teams within even 10 runs of that, are the Dodgers (407) and the Giants (409)The Mets are next with 426 followed by the White Sox and As with 430 each.

Could Counsell get Manager of the Year and Stearns get Executive of the Year?

Fun Fact of the Day - The last 13 times the Reds and Brewers have played on the same day, they've had the same outcome as each other. They're both 9-4 in those games.

Could Counsell get Manager of the Year and Stearns get Executive of the Year? If the voters have any clue at all, both have to get some consideration. But you could say the same for the Giants. Nobody picked them to lead a division containing the Dodgers and the Padres.

Did any of you hear Rowdy Tellez on the pre-game show on the radio? Very entertaining.
He grew up in Sacramento and his dad is in town for the series. Apparently he's "not happy" with Rowdy's winning the game last night. Rowdy joked that he supposed since his dad has loved the Giants longer than his kids have been alive, allowances will have to be made.
