Unless PBJ commits, PBS should be fired after this season. He is in year 4 and the program is not close to competing for the top 3. Sadly, I can easily see the financial fallout from the pandemic forcing Braun to keep him for his final year. Hopefully I'm wrong on several fronts but I doubt it.

This will be a crazy year for sure. I don’t care what the predictors are saying at this time. Teams win with chemistry and effort. It is the head coaches responsibility to create it. We will see what happens. Wilborn and Brown should be much more confident this year hopefully making fewer mistakes. Not a good time for a coaching change. Hoping we finish in top five. I will say that we should be recruiting Wisconsin better whether it is PB junior or not. Let’s get out and run. Lots of bodies to apply pressure.

Pantherholic, you are advocating a firing based on a pre-season poll?
Assuming a full season, if the poll turns out to be correct, then I would agree with you.

Here is an app my friends here at uwmfreak could UAT/let me know how many conference mistakes I might have made? lugares.azurewebsites.net(its basically just a more centralized, geographic view of what you can find on VC.. I do have scheduled (recruit) data refresh and will be adding lots of features, so do check it out if you are even mildly inclined). Many more features on the way (this is just for fun, not commercial- anybody can (and does) use Google Maps API)- I hope at least a few people find it useful and/or interesting. Only useful data is on the Horizon squads for now. go panthers the future is now.

Should MKE finish around 10th, PBS should be fired unless PBJ is coming. Also, it seems weird PBS has set his Twitter account to "private" unless people are constantly confusing him with his son.

From the Bible of College Basketball, the College Basketball Yearbook, the good news is that we received a B for the backcourt, a C+ for the frontline and a B- for the bench. Te'Jon was picked for first team along with Loudon Love, Darius Quisenberry, Amari Davis and Antoine Davis!

That is pretty cool. Of all the players watched last year no one was clearly better than Lucas. He is a player who may make it to the next level. Last year he gave up points to spread it around. This year and maybe next year this is his team. With Lathon Jordan we would possibly have one of the best backcourt tandem in the country. You never know what can happen. Stay positive and trust the system. It is never as bad as you think.

Where did the Bible rank Milwaukee overall? I picked up Lindy’s today. They place UWM 9th in the league. Ninth. This is year FIVE post-purge and the national and regional writers think our program stinks. For the simple reason that for each of the last four seasons it HAS stunk.
Anything lower than the top four or the auto-bid this year should result in the dismissal of the coach and the AD. This is year FOUR for this coach — HER coach — and the league is utterly terrible. Any team with five guys who can walk and chew gum should finish that high with any coaching. Prove it now or go.
Of course we all know that’s unlikely to happen (the dismissals, I mean, not the sub-top four finish). The University has made it exceedingly clear since 2016 that it doesn’t give a damn about the men’s BB program collapsing.
By the way, there is nothing more inane than suggesting that a bad coach should be retained because of some hotshot recruit he might bring in. Particularly a one year player. Only desperate programs think that way. And could there be anything more unfair to that youngster than coming in with his Dad’s job on the line depending on whether he alone carried the team to a league title?
I used to say that we had better be careful lest we become Youngstown, that laughingstock of the Horizon that we all wanted ejected from the league. Youngstown is picked for third this year. We have been LAPPED by Youngstown. YOUNGSTOWN!!!
Madness. And to top it all off there won’t be any crowds this year.
Oh, wait.

That's the bad news, Fran. We were picked for 10th, ahead of only IUPUI and Fort Wayne. The CBBY, which is worth every bit of the $30, thinks that we sorely lack in the areas of player development and closing out games, as evidenced by our extremely high number of close defeats. Something must change here in order to move forward.

The focus of the coaching staff had to be late in the games. Turning these late loses into wins. The final 6 loses to end the season, all could have been wins.

We will be better than ninth place I can guarantee that. That’s just some writer opinion these teams are about the same it depends on who wants it more the little things like rebounding playing as a team and not being selfish. I’m not scared of any of these teams our guards can out play these other teams easily and can score with the best of them. The Bigs are the key!!!!! and we only have 1 big the walk on kid.Don’t believe the hype with these teams like Cleveland st. that new guard they got is to small he will get killed in conference play We own UIC, if we wouldn’t lost those last games we played we could’ve been in third place. I don’t care what these so called reports are we have a chance we are better than a lot of these teams. Can’t wait to prove these guys wrong. It’s almost time the 27th hurry up and get here the we can see for ourselves.
