Milkmen have fallen into third place and are outside the playoff picture looking in. they trail division leader Chicago by 2.5 and trail second place fargo moorhead by a half game for the last playoff spot in the division.

With 9 games to play Milkmen sit 3.5 behind Chicago for the division lead and are 1 game out of second.. at 54-37 the best they can do is 63 wins

Milkmen win 6-3 and could be tied with Fargo for the last playoff spot should Fargo lose to Chicago. Chicago has already clinched a playoff spot and at this point, absent a long losing streak, will win the division. Its down to Fargo and Milwaukee for the second spot, as Milwaukee is 6.5 ahead of 4th place Winnipeg with 8 to play. the best winnpeg could do is 57 wins, and Milwaukee and Fargo both have 55 already.

so accrding to a tweet from the milkmen account, the Milkmen will clinch a playoff spot tonight with a win and a winnipeg loss i had thought only the top 2 teams from each division made the playoffs., but clearly the league changed that at some point, because both Chicago and Fargo are marked as having clinched playoff spots. so it appears the top 3 teams from each division advance. I'm guessing top seeds get a bye while 2 and 3 face off?

So the Milkmen have clinched a playoff spot! The only question left is whether they will be the 2 seed or the 3rd seed, as they are unlikely to catch Chicago for the division

2 vs 3 is a play in game. I thought top 2 made playoffs. Guess not. Winning division was key.

2 vs 3 is a play in game. I thought top 2 made playoffs. Guess not. Winning division was key. i thought it was top 2 as well, as that was the statement at the beginning of the season. at some point , though the playoffs were expanded. so the ;ast few games is all about who between Milwaukee and Fargo hosts the playin game.

last day of the regular season. milkmen trying to finish 59-41 on the season. the playin game against fargo is Wednesday, winner faces Chicago in a best of 5 series. theres a possibility of a 3 way tie in the South, why doesnt the AA have tiebreaker games?

so the playin games are set for Wednesday
milkmen face Fargo in the North, and Sioux City faces Cleburne in the South. Chicago awaits the Fargo-Milwaukee winner, while Kansas City will play the Cleburne-Sioux City winner.
