packers left probably another 10 points on the field. Rodgers locks up MVP if he throws 4 -5 tds next week and the Packers get the 1 seed. Maholmes hasnt played great lately. I'll take 40 points in those weather conditions, anytime. Right now, ARod is up six TD passes on Mahomes, with the same number of interceptions thrown. Mahomes is up 700 in passing yards, and the Chiefs have the best record in the NFL. I think Rodgers deserves the MVP, but I don't have a vote.

Rodgers needs 2 TDs to set a new career high. he needs 6 to get to 50 on the season. I dont think maholmes plays in the finale as the chiefs have wrapped everything up.

milestones that can be reached Sunday: 13- number of points needed by the packers to move in second place for most points scored in a season in team history(2011's 560 is out of reach) 26- number of points needed to reach 500 for the season, would obviously be the second time ever the Packers have scored that many. 2- the numbers of TDs Rodgers needs to set a new carer high. also the number of TDs needed by Adams to set a new franchise record for receiving TDs in a season. Sterling Sharpe had 18 in 1994. Adams needs 3 to reach 20 TDS. He would join Randy Moss in 2007 , and Jerry Rice in 1987 as the only receivers in NFL history to catch 20 touchdowns in a season. 6- number of Touchdowns needed for Rodgers to get to 50 on the season. also number needed by Davante to tie the NFL record for receiving TDs in a season.

Great stuff! Was that A.J. Dillon or Jim Brown?! What a stud!!! He sped past the Titans like he was on the sled engineered by Clark Griswold!

packers drop to 5-2 after a sluggish 28-22 loss. still in first in the division with the bears losing, but we can probably say goodbye to getting the playoff bye. If the Packers win on Sunday against the Bears, they clinch the top seed in the NFC and the bye, and get all their post-season games at home. How differently things look after eight more games. The Bears will probably not be a pushover. But the Pack's performance against the Titans has given me confidence that they are up to whatever challenge the Bears present.

Wow! I'm absolutely speechless! What a performance!!! Really the only thing not to like was that third quarter. It's happened before this season, but mostly the Pack has been able to respond and hang on to the lead. Last week, the Pack really played well against a top AFC team, so I am confident heading in to the playoffs. I note that Derrick Henry went off this week and got to 2000 yards for the season.

The pundits have basically handed the MVP to ARod based on his recent play. All he did today was throw four TDs to reset his franchise season record, including one to Devante Adams that tied Sterling Sharpe's franchise season record of 18. (Adams set a franchise record for catches in s season, passing Sharpe.) Rodgers had a perfect QB rating in the first half, and finished the game with a 147+ rating.

One thing on this: the entire flow of an uneven third quarter was paved by the MVS drop, which deprived No. 12 of the best single-season QB rating in LEAGUE HISTORY.

if MVS hangs on to the ball. thats at least 5 TDs for Aaron and we break the Bears will, and almost certainly hang 45+ on them. Rodgers tied Dan Marino in 1984 for 5th most in a season in NFL history ( P Manning had 55, and 49, and Maholmes and Brady had 50 each in a year. Its the first time Riodgers has lead the league in TD passes . He would have lead in the league in 2011 if he had not sat out the finale, Brees played the finalke and passed him up with 46 TDs.

I remember the game Rodgers sat out. It was a BAD move by the prior regime. Matt Flynn threw six TDs against Detroit and the team lost its edge for the playoffs.

Right now Rams are winning over Seattle, which would ensure that we would not have to play Tampa
