I believe that the schedule is now done. I wonder which of the above-mentioned games will be postponed (assuming, of course, that it's not ALL of them).

It's hard to figure out the schedule with Robert Morris coming in. How many conference games is the Horizon League playing? Right now the Panthers have 10 non conference games scheduled in what we know.

I believe that the schedule is now done. I wonder which of the above-mentioned games will be postponed (assuming, of course, that it's not ALL of them). As long as the student-athletes are regularly tested and test negative, I suspect that Universities will likely try to play the games. It gets harder if any player tests positive during the season. How long must he quarantine (if asymptomatic)? Will other players need to quarantine as well? How many; which ones? Will some games be cancelled in the middle of the season if multiple players on a team are infected/in quarantine and unavailable? Even assuming games are played, will fans be allowed? Many experts are suggesting that indoor events will be particularly challenging, especially in the fall and winter seasons. If fans are not allowed, should our games be moved to the Klotsche to save money? If fans are allowed, will venues require distancing among attendees? Without trying to be sarcastic, at least that might be possible for us in the Arena considering how tiny our crowds are. Of course, if fans are not allowed at our games, our games will be even more invisible than ever, considering we have neither radio nor television coverage. I don't envy athletic administrators dealing with this. It will create massive uncertainty and challenges until a reliable and safe vaccine is widely and successfully introduced throughout the population. That certainly won't happen before the '20-21 season would start; we should all hope it will at least happen before the following season. Considering how uncertain everything about next season will be in college sports, I have also wondered whether many players will simply choose to redshirt; we might also see a late spate of transfers. If you're going to sit out a year, might as well use a year that could be all screwed up anyway.

Then the Panthers would have to get rid of an non conference game.

My guess is that it will be one of the two expected Horizon/Summit challenge games.

Either there or Engelmann. They certainly shouldn't be played at the Arena!

Well considering Engelmann has soccer turf on it now it sure would make the game interesting ! If UWM does what other schools are planning on and allow STH only, I would still imagine they play at the K.

Well at least for football I remember reading a couple teams were doing that. My uncle is also a professor at University of Georgia and they got a faculty email how football will only be some but not even all STH, the big boosters are gonna get priority, and that they might have to do the same for basketball too.

In the press conference Commissioner Jonathan LeCrone would not say how many conference games would be played. Said something like we can now be flexible with 20 games. 22, 18 or 16.

In any other year, this would be a rotten time to be coy. Schedules are usually out no later than Labor Day. Seems to me that his wishy-washy response speaks volumes.

I would think 20 games is the plan for the 2020-21 season. Robert Morris joined late. I don't think it's fair for other HL schools to break contracts of non conference games already scheduled for a late push to 22 conferences games.
