I believe that we also have return trips to Kansas City (perhaps folded into the trip to KSU) and Eastern Illinois.

This D1 Docket has a google doc for all team schedules and he claims MKE will be returning to Western Michigan next year.
Panthers will also be playing in the Summit League Showdown too. TBD if home or away.

I'm curious how the league showdown will happen. HL will have 11 teams and SL will have 9 teams. If it's a straight comparison of conference standings, MKE will play Denver. My guess would be the last two teams will typically be exempt but I wouldn't be surprised if Fort Wayne & IUPUI are the ones left out this first year. This will be somewhat alleviated in the future if St Thomas is capable of making the leap from D3 to D1. I still wish LeCrone would have pursued them instead of Fort Wayne.

It will be ironic if they do, one of the few reasons I choose UWM over St Thomas all those years ago was because I wanted to go to a school with D1 sports. They'll be a powerhouse in the summit in no time, beautiful campus, they care about athletics, awesome area. Hell, outside of Denver they probably have at least double the endowment of any summit league school.

Yes so the Summit will presumably have to find new programs now. Looks like the scheduling criteria is a mix of projected team rankings, 3 year RPI/NET average & Ken Pom's adjusted efficiency rating.

I wondered at first if it was going to be North Dakota for the HL/SL Showdown, but that article says that the home and home is set for everyone the 17th and the 21st of November. This would mean that we more than likely would have 3 SL opponents this year in NC play. With KC to the Summit and FW to the Horizon, it will be 11 HL and 9 SL. It will interesting to see who the SL selects as the team that will fill the extra slots.

St. Thomas and Bellarmine please!!! I'll take Bellarmine ASAP and USI after they watch another rival move up successfully and go for it. That area seems to be where the most promising candidates are and it'd kinda make St. Thomas an outlier (hell, it'd start to make the WI schools outliers lol)
