So uh...I'm gonna throw this here since things got thrown outta whack by COVID-19...PBJ out here trying to assemble a superteam?
(given the fact that 5 visits were listed, I'm assuming this is *official* visits. Unless Foster is already ready to commit and just wants to do a 2-for-1 with us and Marquette to hang out with family, this is intriguing)

Well, it's now been about two weeks without sports. How are you guys holding up?

We’ll have to make a determination depending on what the precise date is as to how much of a preparation period we need," Manfred said in an interview Wednesday night on ESPN's "SportsCenter With Scott Van Pelt," adding: "But the one thing I know for sure is baseball will be back. Whenever it's safe to play, we'll be back. ... We will be part of the recovery, the healing in this country from this particular pandemic."

From The Greatest Athletic Director Who Has Ever Lived: ______________________________________________________ Dear Panther Family, It is extremely difficult to wrap our heads around all that has happened in the world over the past few weeks. A virus that no one can see has taken away what we hold near and dear – the sights and sounds of Milwaukee intercollegiate athletics on the court and field. We are all dealing with so many thoughts and emotions as a result of what is happening. Please know that the NCAA, Horizon League and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee had no choice but to take the unprecedented and necessary steps to protect all involved in college athletics across our city and area, and throughout each of our local league communities.
Although we fully support the decisions being made, we are deeply saddened that our student-athletes' seasons have come to an abrupt end, especially for our seniors. I promise you, it was certainly a decision no one wanted to make. It is also important for us to remember that the impact of this challenge reaches far beyond sports, our athletics program and our student-athletes. It quickly carried over to all students at the University and now to each and every one of us, as our everyday lives have been impacted with the closings of schools and businesses. With regard to our seniors and eligibility issues arising from the cancellation of spring sports, the NCAA is working through what happens next and we will provide updates as soon as we are able. In the meantime, know that the Panthers are resilient. This will not hold us back or keep us from moving forward. When the time comes to get back on the playing fields, we will be a stronger family for going through this together. For now, we are continuing to make decisions that provide for the best health and safety conditions for our student-athletes, faculty and staff. Remote classroom instruction has started and our athletes will be back practicing and returning to some sense of normalcy as soon as it is safe to do so. We are here to provide our student-athletes, coaches and staff whatever our full support - academically, emotionally and physically. Our continued student development will not take a backseat to COVID-19. Please take any and every precaution for you and your family to stay safe in these unprecedented times. If the past two weeks is any indication, things will continue to move and change quickly. Be ready to do the same to stay safe and healthy during this worldwide crisis. We have a powerful platform when we publicly wear "Milwaukee" across our chests. We will get back up again and we are together every step of the way. When the time is right, the roar of the Panthers will return. United We Roar! Sincerely, Amanda Braun Milwaukee Panthers Director of Athletics #UnitedWeRoar _________________________________________________________
The second she's gone, I vote we toss the #UnitedWeRoar hashtag in the trash heap.

From the desk of dylan:
"It's extraordinarily difficult to wrap our heads around all that has happened to our once-beloved program over the last seven-plus years."

Amanda Braun's desk has more administrative ability than Amanda Braun does.

Well, it's now been about two weeks without sports. How are you guys holding up? More than you care to know, but since you did ask ... I've somewhat lucked out from a timing standpoint. In this time we bought a newly constructed house to better accommodate my sister and her dog, who moved in with us recently. We also sold our old house and moved. This has been a busy time and I caught a break by not being able to work at the last five spring training games that were cancelled at American Family Fields of Phoenix. The transaction and moving process would have been more challenging than it was had I been working those games. We continue to remain busy unboxing, contracting the buildout of our new laundry room, planning the backyard, shopping online for some household necessities, etc. The bad thing about moving at this time is the challenge to avoid social contact. Picking up materials with a rented Home Depot truck, three moving company employees touching all our stuff, tradesmen in and out of the house to work on punch list items and warranty issues, signing my name for purchases and services with my finger on tablets, etc. I miss my day to day following of the Brewers and watching the college basketball tournaments (yes, even the CBI would seem good right now), but it has been easier with the referenced preoccupation. I am sure I would miss spectator sports a lot more had I not been so busy.

Crazy, now the Indy 500 postponed almost 3 months to August. Guess I should have expected it as the 500 always is basically the whole month of May with a road course race as well and practice/quals weeks prior to the race.
