A "package" is a joke. Has anyone ever had a whole group of players transfer from one school to another? I can't even remember a time when two players went from one school to another at the same time. Anyone have any examples? Got one. Two of my all-time favorites: Hank Gathers and Bo Kimble. USC to Loyola Marymount.

The Martin twins went from NC State to Nevada a few years ago.

Well I can tell you this since these coaching jobs have come available back dooring is at a all time high!!!!! coaches are making moves on trying to get a job ( De Paul) Minnesota and ppl are making pitches at assistants and players at the same time so what I will say is that this game is dirty how can you act like your so cool with a coach but right behind his back your recruiting for another coach sh*t crazy no loyalty to no one guys I don’t know what to say watch for the hiring of the de Paul job that’s the one that’s get these players to leave ppl are trying to put a package together as I write this but will keep you informed!!!! The only one I can see being able to vie for a high major spot is Parham. His Chicago/Illinois connections are considerable and he has previous power conference experience. He also tried getting the MD Eastern Shore HC job a year or two ago. Plus, he probably knows he's on a sinking ship here so get out before you're forced out.

And the players he could be targeting are JT (Chicago) and Gholston (Gary, IN). Newby is also from the area but I don’t think he has Big East abilities quite yet. And Te’Jon would be pretty silly to give up his freedom in Milwaukee to play anywhere else. Really... all of these guys probably have their best shot at playing time right where they are. I’m sure they would all be able to put up 6 PPG and 15-20 MPG at a high major at best. Even at DePaul.

The big east is not that strong at all pls but Lucas has a father/son relationship with parham JT doesn’t!!!! and Lucas does have freedom but anything can happen ppl behind the scenes are what really make things happen you never know Everyone has a price!!! Not saying money is involved but strange things has happened and one more thing all the blue blood conferences are down because of level of talent the teams that played well this season are teams the had older players trust and believe the older players on Milwaukee team could definitely go play can contribute on high major with no problem with a real big man also pls the sky will be the limit so don’t underestimate those guys.

Well, Lucas is from the Big Ten, so I guess the Big Ten is not that strong. Strong is such a wide term. Point is if a guy can play, he can play. Yet, what level can he take that team. Springs was average at Minnesota when he transfer and so was Arian's at Wake. Yes, they played in those leagues, yet didn't take those schools to the next level.

I HATE the offseasons at UWM now. Couldn't we just start a Spring League?!

Hey, if DePaul is willing to take on any part of the Dog and Pony show we've been trotting out the past 4 years, God bless 'em! It isn't going to hurt my feelings at all.

The gap between mid major and low high major is very thin IMO. If you think JT, Gholston or Te’jon wouldn’t be able to put up more than 6ppg at DePaul, that is unlikely IMO. I think if the goal was to play significant minutes at a high major, all 3 are capable. I think we have something very special brewing here, especially if PBJ is coming here, and I suspect they would all be better off staying put and making a run on this team, vs trying to play for a low level high major.

Jermaine Jackson Jr. and Jack Ballantyne did it from the Horizon League a couple years ago...

It's funny and unfortunate that CBB has turned into basically free agency in pro sports. The fact that you can pretty much transfer when and wherever you want is quite annoying. Yes, I know this has been building for awhile but it's hard to build a mid major team when every offseason it's more so not looking at next season, but looking who is possibly going to leave.

Yes two players from this team going to the same school is a package bro! Fair question; given where we're at as a department and program, can you actually blame these guys for looking into other options?

On today’s episode of reading too much into tweets, I’d like to discuss the following. One would think you wouldn’t need a highlight video if you weren’t planning to transfer... Lol this reminds me of this one time I was in Bid's office and he got a highlight video in the mail from some forward in South Dakota. First words after popping in the DVD: "Good god that is some awful highlight music." *MUTE* Then the kid's first highlight was a missed hook shot that featured some nice footwork I guess. If you're looking to get recruited to play basketball at a Division I school, don't start your highlight video with a missed shot.
