Also, I laughed out loud at Cameron Harvey. Forgot that dude was even on a roster.

Eayrs finished in '10, so he's technically LAST decade. Also, at quick glance Springs has GOT to be on there somewhere.

Really good first team, by the way.

I had a little more trouble with the second team. I'll go with Steve McWhorter, Akeem Springs, Austin Arians, Tony Meier and Kyle Kelm.

1st team:
Steve McWhorter Jordan Aaron Akeem Springs Matt Tiby Anthony Hill
2nd team:
Jordan Johnson Kaylon Williams Brock Stull Tony Meier Kyle Kelm
3rd team:
Te'Jon Lucas Darius Roy Ryan Allen Cody Wichmann J.J. Panoske
I had a hard time with the last few spots as I had to try to figure out where Darius Roy, Cody Wichmann, Brett Prahl, Austin Arians, and perhaps even Jeremiah Bell all fit. Bryce Nze is also under consideration, but it's hard to compare his two years to Wichmann's and Prahl's four years. I also put Akeem Springs on the first team over Kaylon Williams and Jordan Johnson to try to avoid putting three potential point guards (with two definite point guards) in a single lineup. Plus Akeem Springs could dominate games when he was on, but this list was hard to compile as I am the first to admit that it doesn't seem right that Akeem Springs makes the first team and Austin Arians doesn't make any of the top three teams. There's a lot of players that could fit on more than one team over the past decade.

How exactly does Lucas qualify for this exercise? He played a total of 12 games in the decade, including losing 7 straight to finish it out, and you're actually putting him on the 2nd team or 3rd team?
He isn't in the same zip code as the other point guards listed, unless individual stats are your only measuring stick.

He made 2nd team all conference. That's why I put him there.

If we're being technical and talking true PG's it would definitely be Johnson, McWhorter and Lucas IMO. Jordan Aaron was a lot more of a scoring guard than an actual PG (He was the most fun to watch though). All are/were excellent players though!

I believe that J.B. also made second-team all-conference in '16-17.

One more player to consider who didn’t appear on the list is Paris Gulley. He played a decent role on the 4th place team in 2011-2012 (which is the best finish for the team in league play since the 2010-2011 season) and was probably one of our best players in the Andy Geiger/Klotsche Center year. I don’t think he’d make my top three teams, but I feel like he deserves some mention when considering the team.
I also noticed another player from that era who started a lot of games is missing from the list but from the rumors I have heard, I think most of us would have a haard time even considering him for any of these teams.
