Panthers lose 65-61 in a game they really should have won. Ugh.

No idea why you go to CJ Wilbourn in the post 2 straight possessions. The kid may be good down the line, but he isn't Nze or Ant Hill where he should be getting the ball in crunch time. Just my opinion.

How do you not go 2 for 1 with 48 seconds left? You really don't see it that much in the college game.

What happened there? The power of Love is a curious thing.

Bottom line: there were some really curious play calls down the stretch and a golden opportunity to win was lost.

What happened there? The power of Love is a curious thing. Did a WWE arm bar. Would not let go of the hold. Could have ripped Brown's shoulder out. Very dirty.

How do you not go 2 for 1 with 48 seconds left? Frustrated with a lot...but this one I'll let slide. The shot went up with ~40 second left, it just got blocked out of bounds. Even a quick shot off the inbound takes a few seconds and WSU can essentially run the clock down to a few seconds

One other thing for tonight: the first rule of Fight Club is that there's no talking about Fight Club!!!

Bottom line: there were some really curious play calls down the stretch and a golden opportunity to win was lost. The Lucas play to Brown was set up great. Brown rushed the shot for the tie.

Not going to win many games if we don’t start knocking down 3’s. This team lives and dies by the three ball and lately it’s been ugly from beyond the arc.
1/31 vs WSU: 3-20 (15%) 1/25 @ CSU: 4-21 (19%) 1/23 @ YSU: 3-19 (16%) 1/18 vs Oak: 7-29 (24%)
I mean, that’s just way too many wasted possessions. Instead of chucking 3s, we need to take better shots. Get to the free throw line. Because with the exception of the game at CSU, we’ve been within arms reach of winning every conference game so far this year. Can’t afford that many misses.

Tough loss at home with a decent crowd. Good student section. I don’t understand some of the calls at games end. They are pretty much all like that and it is not fun to watch. No fouls by an aggressive switching defense in the first half. Come on. Hate blaming loss on refs. We didn’t make the plays and that’s the game. Except for The Load, Love, there is not much difference between these two teams. We need some catch and shoot guys and a big with good hands. Hoping it happens. See you Sunday.

Shot selection is a question that goes to system and so ultimately to coaching. That was a great effort, but in the end just another loss ... and another HOME loss, which certainly doesn't help the cause with a "big" crowd in the stands. If you want more people, more interest, more revenue, more concession stands, etc., you must start by winning these home games.

Shot selection is a major problem in college basketball, not just UWM. Other than a Henderson jumper in the paint and Lucas moving to his right for a long 2 point attempt.(IMO, which were bad shots) I thought last night's shot selection was improved from the CSU game.

DeAndre Abram.
Has anyone seen such an off and on player? Some games he seems like an all conference player. Others, like last night's, he is MIA.
